Absolutely great experience, everyone I talked to was so kind and helpful. I will absolutely recommend anyone I know who needs to service their car to come here, they are the best!
I took my car to multiple shops trying to figure out an annoying noise that no one could diagnose. Every place I went to told me they couldn’t hear it, couldn’t feel it, or that I was overthinking it. Some even started guessing and replacing parts without actually solving anything. Then I brought it to Flanders, and within less than 30 minutes they figured it out. They immediately identified that there was a cut in the tire that was causing the noise. To prove it, they swapped the tire to the other side, and the noise changed and got louder exactly as they explained it would. That alone showed they actually understood what was happening instead of guessing. What makes this even more frustrating is that the tire shop that replaced the tire under warranty told me there was nothing wrong with it and that the small cut could not possibly cause the issue. Yet as soon as the tire was replaced, the noise completely disappeared. That tells you everything. For context, I drive a hybrid vehicle for my private transportation business, so when the car is in electric mode it is completely silent. That means I can hear and feel everything, and I am extremely in tune with how my vehicle operates since I spend most of my time in it. Flanders actually listened to me, respected what I was saying, and took the time to properly diagnose the issue instead of dismissing it. They were professional, responsive, easy to deal with, and clearly know what they are doing. If you want real diagnostics and not guesswork, this is the place to go.
The owner Joe is an honest/ great guy to work with. They have a new mechanic as well- and he’s great. Very thorough. Your car will get done and feel like new.
Had major front end repairs and alignment on my 2005 Silverado. Truck handles like new and should last for years. Dennis explained all work needed and cost before proceeding. Good experience all around. Will definitely be back for future repairs.
The guy that runs the place now is great. Hes very polite and respectful.. He takes the time to explain things to you.. He DOESN'T rip you off and is completely honest, to the best of my knowledge. My mechanic sends everyone there and now I see why.
Great experience!!! Joe and Dennis took great care of us and went above and beyond. Definitely recommend Flanders for all your automotive needs!!
This shop is the best. Honest, up front, helpful and super prices. Can’t say enough good things and Joe and Dennis and the shop. I won’t be using anyone else but them for all my cars!!
I can't say enough good things about Flanders Brake & Alignment! When my car’s control arm suddenly broke off on the highway, I was stranded and shaken. Joe came to the rescue with his tow truck on a Sunday afternoon, getting me safely off the road and making what could have been a nightmare situation feel manageable. On Monday, he and Dennis quickly assessed the damage, ordered the necessary parts, and had my car back on the road by Tuesday—unbelievably fast turnaround! Their pricing was extremely fair, and the level of customer service was exceptional. Joe and Dennis were transparent, professional, and genuinely trustworthy—qualities that can be hard to find in auto repair. If I lived in Connecticut, this would be the only place I’d bring my car. Highly, highly recommend!
I brought my truck in for a front-end alignment after hearing good things about this shop from a friend. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing like the reputation they apparently had years ago before the business changed ownership. From the moment I arrived, the owner/technician came across as rude and dismissive. I'm mechanically inclined and perform most of my own vehicle maintenance and repairs, but as most people know, a proper wheel alignment requires specialized equipment. That's why I brought the truck to a professional shop. After the first alignment, my truck pulled noticeably to one side, worse than before I brought it in. I returned and paid another $150 to have the issue addressed. Even after the second attempt, the truck still wasn't aligned correctly. The pulling was obvious, and it was clear that something was still off with the alignment settings. In total, I spent $300 and still didn't have a properly aligned vehicle. I eventually took the truck to another shop, where they corrected the problem on the first visit and the truck now drives straight as it should. Based on my experience, the current ownership does not seem to live up to the reputation this shop once had. Poor customer service, questionable alignment work, and having to pay twice for a problem that was never fixed left me extremely disappointed. I cannot recommend this shop for alignment work. They suck!
Unresponsible leave undone, work on the your vehicle and take forever to return your vehicle back and the prices. Unbelievably high. It will be the first at last time. I will come back to this place flanders and break & alignment ever again I'm going to have them finish what they started and make sure it's done and won't never come back again. And even the workers, they want to do whatever they want. An unfriendly want it to fight with me? Because I want the work done before my warranty expires. And if the work is not done right. I will be taking them to small claims Court and report them to DMV ? Now I say thanks for nothing.
