Mac's has been reliable & cost-effective over the years - & just proved their top-rating again.. My 2017 Subaru Outback broke down in traffic on E. Main Street in Webster - looked like major transmission issues plus the E-brake failed, as the AAA tow driver observed. Thought it was a goner. But Mac's put in a new axel & reprogrammed the computer & it's running again. For about $500. I'm not religious, but this seems almost like a miracle. Not gonna go on any long trips, but at least I can drive it to the dealership when I seek a replacement.

This is the third time I have gone to Mac’s auto for an inspection sticker. There was a line today but they were moving quickly and I was in and out. Nice waiting area and the gentleman that work there are very polite.

I’ve been coming here for my inspections for the last few years and recently had an oil change and alignment check because my steering wheel has been twitch. Alan immediately noticed that my actual issue was that the tires were cracked. He had them replaced SAME DAY. 10/10 service and good pricing too!

Don’t go here there not the same quality as they used to be but charge the same high prices unless you want to waste your money and have to constantly bring your car back avoid them

Used to be a good place had my car worked on twice recently had to bring it back each time for problems and my car is still messed up they charge high prices for bad work alot of new faces don’t go there I paid 2500 for new struts sway bar link and a door handle and alignment they had to realign my car three times and it still has a crooked steering wheel and the tires are off had to go elsewhere absolutely terrible experience

Got an inspection in June, asked them to turn off my inspection needed light and the guy told me they can’t, advised me that only Volkswagen can do it which I knew was complete bullshit and he was just truly being lazy. Went to Firestone auto and had them turn it off for me, no issue. Simply won’t ever come back, thank god this was just an inspection and I didn’t need auto work done because performance is lazy and careless. Yikes.
