About Meineke Car Care Center

The Cheyenne Meineke handles heat-related no-starts and works in travelers with nowhere to wait - one Nebraskan got squeezed in after being told it'd be an all-day job. David walks customers through everything, and at least one angry reviewer came back to upgrade their rating after talking with him.

The serious negatives involve a turbo replacement that went sideways and a tow-away dispute - big jobs here deserve a second quote. Wyoming has no emissions testing. Rated 4.1 across 720 reviews.

I was having problems with my car not starting when the temp reached higher then 70 degrees outside. They diagnosed what they thought was the problem and replaced it. My car has started ever since. Thanks for the repair they are very friendly and thorough as well.

Even though they had scheduled appointments, they were very professional and worked me in without an appointment. They did a very professional job of keeping me informed, took photos, walked we around and showed me what they were doing. I will be back. David McWain, Center Manager was excellent.

These guys were so very helpful! They told me at first that it would probably an all day wait! Then they saw that I was from Nebraska and I had no where to go so they worked it out and got me right in! They are very reasonable as well!! I would recommend this shop to anyone and David the front desk guy rocks! Thanks from the bottom of my heart!!💜

I wrote a bad review earlier. I would like to change that. I got to talk to David. He walked me through everything. I feel so much better about them working on my jeep. Thank you David for helping me to understand. They will work with you. A great place to take your vehicle

Absolutely amazing experience!!! I am beyond happy with the service I received!! They broke down the issues my car had and throughly explained the repair process. And the price was very reasonable. This is now my go to place. Thank you Meineke!

Although the news I got about the repairs I needed were not good, the manager and all the other staff that i talked with were very knowledgeable and thorough. I bought a used explorer and it went from bad to worse, a water pump turned into a timing chain job at another shop, and a faulty part turned all that into an engine replacement... it's been very stressful... But Meineke to the rescue!! New motor installed with all new components and my Explorer is running like a brand new vehicle!! So thankful for the hard work put in by the mechanic Seth! He did an amazing job!! Thank you Meineke for getting it fixed!!

Just did an exam after having towed my car from Meineke. I would've let it go if things did not turn out to be this off chart. As a result, I decide to lower my rating: (1) issues on the Invoice, specifically Section 3: -we were charge for $200~240 labor rate on a job of 2.5 hrs, while the common practice is $110~140/hr -we were charged $252.34 on the intake manifold runner control valve, while Advanced Auto Parts sells the same part at $191.99 (2) issues that were not handled or even mentioned that we will have to deal with on our own: -the air box clamps are both broken (see the pic "air box.png") -pigtail clips are all broken from removing the intake manifold & causing misfires (see the pic "Pigtail clips.png") -the broken map sensor (not 100% percent sure if that is what the part is called tho) is causing Idle issues (see the pic "3rd broken piece.png")

I have never been the person to do this, but I am because I hate scammy mechanics that will steal your money and leave you pouring money into vehicles. The reason I went through them is because it’s the only company that was in network for silver rock. Basically, I told them several times I believed the issue was my spark plugs, they said it’s not, okay no worries they should know best. They said it was the o2 sensors, brought it back again because light turned on, 3 days later they tell me it’s the other o2 sensor, light turns on again, 5 days later, according to them, it’s the first o2 sensor that they already fixed? They told me my car was in good condition and fine to drive on a road trip, sounded fair to me, they’re the mechanics, guess what just went completely bad and threw my car into limp mode 500 miles away, the dang spark plugs. Don’t waste your time here, pay the $350 out of network fee and go somewhere that will actually fix your car and not screw you on time and money.

I don’t give them even a 1 star!!! They totally messed my truck up took it in for a turbo replaced when they called they said they had to fix the timing chain as well I said go ahead and do it had no issues prior besides the turbo giving out! They took there time I had to bug to get it finally worked on after a few weeks I called and was told to come pick it up, once getting there I was told it was started for a hour to make sure it was working properly but 5 minutes before I got there it died out and wouldn’t start. I then had to leave it again right as hunting was starting so a week passed I went to pick it up again and when I did the mechanic said there was water all around my truck because he had rinsed the engine bay off and if it steams it will wear off! I made it 5 minutes away and my wife said the trucks smoking very bad I pulled over and noticed it was leaking oil not only that but I noticed oil on my wiper cowls by windshield wipers oil on my running boards oil stains on my seat and my mirror was cracked and they put a clear glue to try and hide it and my truck was ticking loud plus my turbo didn’t sound right at all it was way louder! I called and they said to bring it back in in a few days I was upset but had no choice, I took it to auto zone to hook it up to scanner to see what the code was for engine light well I waited to take it back in it came up as a timing chain being timed wrong so I took it in a few days later and gave him the paper what it said about timing being off and when I picked it up this time for the fourth time I inspected it the manger started it was a faulty part causing all the trouble I noticed when pulling out that it was leaking a small drop of oil they said it would heat up and seal so it wouldn’t leak after running it a little bit. After a few days I called back let them know it was leaking still and he was annoyed but told me to bring it in once again so I did after a few hours I was called and told it was my vacuum pump and without asking me he called my warranty and was told it wouldn’t be covered so at this point I was done I took my truck but prior to picking up I told the manger I wanted a list of parts and labor everything that was done to it printed out when getting truck he gave me a lousy paper with nothing really stating what they did and the price I paid was a few hundred dollars over the price it had stated in papers I called better business and was told to fill papers out online I did and still am waiting to hear back from them on what I can do now!! My truck has a loud noise from timing chain when I start it it smells like burnt oil and now engine light is on again no issues besides turbo when I took it in now I’m leaving with a broken truck possibly have to get a new one so I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy at all!!!!!!! I wish I could add video to this review
