I highly recommend Saint Amant Muffler for any type of vehicle repair. The staff is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. They are honest about what your vehicle needs and take the time to explain everything clearly. They recently repaired the rear differential on my son’s Ford F-150, and they did an excellent job. The service was quick, the pricing was fair, and the quality of the work was outstanding. It’s not easy to find a repair shop you can truly trust, but Saint Amant Muffler definitely provides reliable and dependable service. If you need vehicle repairs, this is a great place to go.

Had a great experience with Tyra at St. Amant Muffler & Brake, Inc! I brought in my Jeep Gladiator after finding out the driver-side brake piston was seized — something we talked through beforehand — and they handled it quickly and professionally. The team walked me through what was going on, replaced what was needed, and had me back on the road with smooth, responsive brakes. Fair pricing, honest work, and solid communication the whole way through. Highly recommend them for anyone needing reliable brake or muffler work in the area.

Soooo much love for the wonderful people at St Amant Muffler & Brake! If I could give them 11 stars I would, but alas, we’ll have to be satisfied with 5 out of 5. I was on a 3 month road trip around the USA with my senior dog and had been heading back to NYC, when my vintage ‘95 Ford Econoline sputtered out and died right in the middle of the intersection directly across from this shop. Talk about a fish out of water! NYC girl traveling alone, nearing the end of my funds, and supposed to be back north in 2 weeks time. Pretty much worst case scenario, and I was already in tears. After waiting 2+ hours for AAA to show up, I walked over to St Amant Muffler & Brake and asked if they could help me out. The PHENOMENAL people who work here sprang into action, getting my van to the shop without a tow truck to save my precious funds, and digging right into its mysterious issues. I’ve found it notoriously challenging to find people who can work on a 29+ year old vehicle, but fortunately we had some experts in the house (special shout out to Eric!!). Unfortunately, this issue turned out to be quite puzzle, and required multiple days of troubleshooting and ordering ancient parts that ultimately did not solve the problem. Despite the bad news for my precious van, EVERYONE at this shop was SO kind, SO helpful, SO loving, that it brings tears to my eyes even now. For the week I was “stuck” in St Amant, I felt like I had an extended family of caring people watching out for me and my little dog. They brought me donuts and home cooked dinners while I was stranded, offered up their homes for showers or sleep if I needed it or rides to the store, plus plenty of coffee and conversation and laughter during this difficult time. Unfortunately, my old van was diagnosed with an engine issue that would be so expensive to fix that it wasn’t worth the price. Eric gave me the heads up before I wasted my money, and the awesome team (much love to Tyra, Evan, Ms Kim, Ms Jane, and the whole crew!) helped me figure out a game plan to get my van with all my worldly possessions (and doggy copilot) to New Orleans. The good Lord apparently wanted me to stay in Louisiana, because I quickly found a job and new home. Truly turned one of my lowest moments into a high point! ENDLESS LOVE AND APPRECIATION FOR ST AMANT MUFFLER & BRAKE!!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!! Once I get my new wheels, I’ll be back to visit for sure
