My son at UCONN had an issue with his older car, he called the fire dept to check on mysterious “smoke”. FD deemed it unsafe so had it towed by T&B Auto back to their shop. Alex, the mechanic, as well as the front staff, were wonderful! Alex was informed and determined to help. He answered all my questions, dug hard to find the issue and was very reasonable on cost, which was appreciated with two in college! Highly recommend!

I was unsure of the services offered by the company but a quick phone call changed that! I initially called to get a price and schedule estimate. Needless to say the girl answering the call was wonderful and I didn’t need to call around other shops. Excellent phone service! Fast forward to an hour or so later, the tow truck driver called to tell me all went smooth and he was at the house for drop off! Blew my mind how prompt and timely this was. He not only asked me where I would like the non operative vehicle parked but also made sure it would not block any other spots. At the end of our call he said “ god bless and have a great day” Made me smile. Nice people are so hard to come by but T&B wowed me from start to finish. I will not only recommend them moving forward but I will also never question that initial call again! I have a newly licensed 18 year old son whose car was broken down on the side of that highway so this was a great ending to a stressful evening. Thank you all and kudos to great customer service. I had great service from T&B. I wish I could remember the name of the driver, I've misplaced his business card, He was a really nice guy and shared some stories of his time in the army as we made our way to Uncasville. Great guy, great service!

Absolutely outstanding experience with their towing service. My car was pretty far down a steep, icy hill. This was the third truck to come by and I thought I’d have to rent a car until the snow thawed. The driver was so determined and used some awesome ingenuity to get my car free. It had been about 22 hours of being stuck at that point and I could not thank him enough. I also spoke to someone on the phone and she was really nice and helpful. He called ahead to get info and then again when he was close. Really great work and I’m so grateful.

I was put out of service at the weigh station on Union Ct, the police called these guys to tow me, 700 dollars an hour unbelievable, and conveniently they won't let you pay by credit card, debit card, or Zelle, you'll have to pay cash (of course nobody carries that much cash in their wallet these days and they know it) or they'll tow you to their offices an hour away, where you will pay at the front desk including the time it takes to get back to wherever you want to take your truck. 2900 dollars for what was originally a 5 mile tow. And the next day when the mechanic was going to reconnect the driveshaft on my truck, he notified me that I needed a new u-joint because the guy who towed me damaged it when he disconnected the driveshaft from my truck, I had to get it fixed today, it sucks, It was the first time i felt like someone was trying to squeeze my wallet as hard as possible.

I really hope I can rate 0. An unpleasant experience in this place happened recently. When I asked if they could provide cleaning for my towed vehicle or take responsibility for it, an employee who claimed to be a manager responded in a way that made me uncomfortable. He had a long tool and was rude and pointed at me, making me feel threatened. The experience made me feel very scared and uneasy. I hope my comments will remind other customers to consider the professional attitude of the staff and customer service before choosing a service here.
