Huge thanks to the two guys at Two Nuts and a Bolt Garage. They were able to get my truck in within a day to check out a coolant leak. It turned out to be the water pump and they handled everything quickly and at a very fair price. Honest, efficient, and easy to work with. I really appreciate the fast turnaround and would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Two Nuts and a Bolt! After being told by the VW dealership that I had essentially “totaled” my car and would need to pay over $5,000 in repairs, I brought my 2015 VW Jetta TDI SE here for a second opinion. I am so grateful I did. The team at Two Nuts and a Bolt reassured me, explained the actual issue clearly, and got to work without any scare tactics or condescension. They were able to flush and clean the AdBlue system for $500 (I accidentally poured coolant into the wrong tank), and my car is running perfectly. They saved me thousands of dollars, but more importantly, they showed honesty, competence, and professionalism; qualities that are sometimes hard to find in auto repair shops. From now on, this is the only place I’ll be bringing my VW car in Savannah. If you want mechanics who genuinely know what they’re doing and treat you with respect, this is the shop. Highly, highly recommend!

Our check engine light came on while getting ready to leave Tybee Island for vacation, with our dogs! One call to Two Nuts and a Bolt and they took a look at our Mini countryman almost immediately. Thankfully it was a minor issue that allowed us to drive home and did not require immediate attention. They would not accept any money offered, so I can only provide this review and our sincere gratitude. Having peace of mind on a 5+ hour drive was the only way we did not lose our minds!

I can't say enough good things about the team at Two Nuts and a Bolt. Seriously, they saved me. After another mechanic put in a faulty alternator in my 2013 Volkswagen Jetta SE 2.5 L., I posted a “HELP ME” in the Savannah Connection trying to find a shop (other than AutoNation) and a client of theirs replied with try Two Nuts and a Bolt. So, I called and arranged to have it towed to their shop on a Monday and got it back on the next Monday. The last mechanic had my car for weeks (3 weeks) and could not figure out everything wrong with my car. They got right to work, had the parts ordered by Wednesday/Thursday, and had my car fixed. After months of telling mechanics, I have an issue with my steering wheel and no resolve. Two nuts and a Bolt found the hidden issue. It was the steering wheel pump that no other mechanic could identify (because it a foreign car, maybe?!), which had been costing me money for months. It's hard to find trustworthy and kind auto shops these days, but these guys (big thanks to Tyler) are the real deal. I'm so grateful for their expertise, honesty, and kindness. My car is working like the day I drove it off the lot!

We brought my 2018 Honda Accord and Carl's 2000 Toyota Tundra truck to Two Nuts and a Bolt Garage for a brake inspection. Before proceeding with any work, the manager, Tyler reached out to us individually to inform us what was needed for each vehicle. He clearly explained everything professionally and honestly. The Tundra needed new brake pads, replaced the rear drum brake cylinder, and flush the brake master cylinder. The Honda needed all four brake pads replaced, along with front and rear rotors. Their mechanic, (another Carl), provided outstanding quality work, and took extreme care of both our vehicles while being serviced. We cannot convey a more positive experience with the service we received from Two Nuts and a Bolt Garage. Tyler and Carl provided us with exceptional customer service, were trustworthy, knowledgeable, efficient, and had competitive prices. We both highly recommend Two Nuts and a Bolt Garage for any brake issues! During our visit we learned they are a full-service auto shop. This place is fast and good! Good trustworthy place!!! Had my car at the Autonation dealership many different times, and they kept it for weeks and weeks. The to only get my car back and it wasn't fixed. Two nuts and a bolt fixed it fast and it finally runs the way it's supposed to.

Mid September of 2024 we took our VW there to have the turbo repaired. They also said we needed a new timing chain and oil pan. It was almost $6000 worth of work! Picked it up on Sept 26, thinking all was good. Got the first oil change done at Valvoline on December 22 and was told the oil pan had a leak. I thought that had to be a mistake since it was a brand new oil pan and we just spent all that money getting in the car fixed. February 14, I called and spoke to the manager, Tyler. He told me to bring the car back anytime within the warranty and he would look at it. Life is hectic and trying to find the time and expense for a rental was going to be tough. We were struggling to recover from the $6000 car repairs and what we had spent on a car rental while they fixed the Volkswagen. On February 20, 2025, I noticed oil leaking from behind a screw on the timing cover. Now I know we need to be a little more eager to get the car back to them. But again, how are we going to afford a rental while they fix our car? Then sadly, I suffered a severely broken ankle, which I’m still struggling to recover from and wasn’t able to return the car to the shop within warranty. But during that time we began having more issues. The car was spitting and sputtering. We changed the plugs and coil packs, and that didn’t fix the problem, we changed the air filter, and that didn’t fix the problem, we changed the PCV valve and that didn’t fix the problem. My OBD scanner consistently says code 0299, which is the turbo boost not being reached, as well as multiple misfires. There’s no way it could be the turbo because we just spent thousands of dollars having that fixed less than a year ago. I was finally able to get the car to the shop last Friday, December 5 (2 1/2 months outside of the warranty). After about a 30 minute glance over, the guys determined the turbo wasn’t even cutting on. We made plans to return it the next week, on Thursday or Friday for them to do a full diagnosis and hopefully fix the problems. But the new manager said he would speak to the owner first, so that we would know if they would consider my Medical issue and still honor the warranty , if they would work with us on a discounted rate, or if we would just have to pay full price all over again for the repairs. Ironically, all of the things broken now are the things that they fixed in the first place: the timing and chain cover leak, the oil pan leak, and now the turbo. Now I think they are avoiding me. I called yesterday, on Thursday, and the manager has conveniently been busy and unable to come to the phone. I called this morning, Friday, and the manager is not there yet. I still don’t know if anyone has spoken to the owner. *Volkswagen is scared to touch the car after someone else did repairs and possibly messed it up worse. ** When we picked our car up, my phone recording the interaction. It was the first time I was able to actually meet with the owner, who seemed to be overly nice. He said that they fixed the leak and I asked if it was the oil pan and the timing chain to which he responded both. They did nothing with the turbo. He said he was looking to order us a new one and then they discovered this Google review so they wanted me to just come remove my car from their property. As I started to pull away from the curb, I heard a grinding sound coming from the brakes. I got out to inspect, but couldn’t see anything so I continue to drive the car around the corner to the Volkswagen dealership. Just as I started to pull into the Volkswagen dealership I heard something fall out from under the car into the street. It was a broken wrench. After Volkswagen inspected the car, they informed us that it was overfilled with oil by 3 inches, and that the oil was old and sludge like. I’m not sure how that would be possible, since I had just two minutes before picked it up from Two Nuts & A Bolt and I have a recording of the owner saying they changed the oil pan gasket. There were other things VW found that suggest sabotage. I’m sure you can put two and two together…

This place is the worst place I’ve ever been,I went in with oil leaking from oil filter housing and steering pump leak and noise when turning.I work on cars and I’m in car clubs..I told them steering hose need to be replaced that’s what’s causing it because I watched it leaking out.BUT THET TOLD ME I NEED NEW STEERING PUMP REPLACED,That cost about $900.I fixed it myself .no leaks no more .Pics shows that.So that’s was 1 scam. The 2 scams was that noise when I turned steering wheel .They said shocks Struts but I replaced them when I bought the car from this garage .I fixed that myself .The oil filter house leaking it’s STILL LEAKING THEY DID NOT FIX IT FOR $430 I paid them to do..I fixed that myself..My FAN TO STEERING PUMP WAS NOT SCREWED IN after I pick up from them.I was hearing Dong sound got home all screws was loose about to fall off and damage or cause me to crash.PICS show n I got the date of pics when I picked up. .I fixed MYSELF Like a should have done but I have money to pay people to do it for me..My mistake.. I read all bad reviews trust me all of them are accurate.Only thing that will solve this is REFUND Because I don’t TRUST THEM,They might mess up other things to get more money..I will keep yall posted on Resolving this.I will not bring back to them .I don’t trust them..I fixed everything myself..
