Air Team Vehicle Emissions Testing Station - Swansea

Easily my favorite place to get my sticker. In and out everytime in under 5 mins even with the line and speedy emission testing! Highly recommend

I put off my emission test until the last day of my registration, fully expecting long lines and a frustrating process. It ended up being much easier than I anticipated. The layout was a little confusing at first because I had a question I wanted to ask before testing, but the lanes are arranged so you typically get the test done first and then speak with someone inside. Once I reached the counter, the very kind and capable elderly lady answered my question clearly. She was pleasant, and the short wait I did have was made better by her friendly conversation with me and others in line. Some testing locations feel like the employees would rather be anywhere else, but that wasn’t the case here. Both the cashier and the person who tested my vehicle were professional and attentive. The actual testing was very quick, even with a small line; about the same amount of time it takes to pick up a Chick‑fil‑A order after placing it online.

This place is always quick and amazing. I've never had an issue and I'm in and out within 15 minutes with my car good to go. Highly recommend to all friends and family.

The wait was very short. The Location is easily accessible. The staff was very polite and professional.Would definitely recommend. Stickers available for purchase right next door For a small extra fee.

The wait time was less than 2 minutes. I love how convenient this location is and it's first come first serve. You just pull in and they will do the rest. If you receive paperwork showing you passed. Just pull around next door and purchase your license sticker. It's $151 plus $9.50 processing fee. This location only takes debit and credit.

I can only speak from my own experience. A clean facility that's not too hard to get to (about 3-4 clear turns, with signage guiding you, off a main road) the emissions test was quick and painless for my car. I passed the test and the tag renewal place is literally attached to the testing place. That was a quick and painless process as well. The employees were civil and polite, if not friendly. To sum up: clean facility, quick test, polite workers, great experience

Just wanted to leave a great shout out to the team at the emissions testing facility in Swansea Illinois. These folks are professional and they get you in and out quick! I like the Peace of mind knowing my family's cars have low emissions and we're doing our little part and keeping the world green. A huge bonus for me is they also do the registration and sticker right on site. Saving me an extra trip to the DMV! What's not to like! Thank you folks for the great service will see you again next year!

Hi, my experience at this location was absolutely horrible. Today’s staff was unnecessarily rude. They didn’t treat me like a customer whatsoever. Especially the older lady working at the front desk. She was not understanding the services I needed therefore, she had a belittling tone of voice when spoken to me then proceeded to inform me to provide $20 cash. I visited the bank, but when I return she was allowing a gentleman to use his debit for his services. I noticed a change of demeanor when it was my turn in line, then the services provided to me by her, was worse than before. I was raised to respect my elders and others around me. However, I strongly believe in giving respect to get respect. The challenge was hard but I succeeded. The only positive outcome of my experience was my emissions inspection report. If you’re having a wonderful day or morning I strongly recommend going to another Illinois Air Team some place else over this one.

It took them about at least 40 minutes to get my information properly in their system so I could get a voluntary test done. Finally, when it's all ready, they inform me that I have to pay in cash (card is not accepted). Well, I don't HAVE $20 in cash on me and I don't have time to run to the bank and back. I'll be going elsewhere.
