Checker Flag

Checker flag is always consistent with their customer service and speed. I have been going there for years. I'm still a customer even when there are companies much closer to me. Locally owned and not a large chain which i like to support. Thank you once again checker flag for treating me right.

Couldn’t believe the waiting room! It was so clean and even stylish! I was impressed with the courtesy I received from the manager as well as his mechanic. The integrity of the manager is stellar. it turned out that I did not need the emissions testing; I didn’t know that-but the manager did, yet he was forthright in telling me the truth. He could have gone ahead and done the emission testing, charged me for it, and I would never have known !! These guys deserve our business👏

My brother-in-law took his car here to get his oil changed a few months ago. After the oil change, took the local road home. THE DAY AFTER, the cover under the engine flew off on the freeway (once he got enough speed.) The same cover they had to remove to access the oil filter. This place refused to claim liability for the damage, citing it was a manufacturers fault for the panel screws. I have never encountered a place that would not accept liability for a panel they had disturbed the day prior. My brother in law even took it to Honda to get it examined, and they confirmed it was this place’s fault. What an absolute joke of a business. Don’t take your car to this place. They do not accept responsibility for their mistakes.

As someone who spent 30 year's in automotive and 20 of those in mechanic type shops all over Utah and Idaho. This is the worse place and the person I dealt with the rudest mechanic ever! I pride myself on being ethical it mean's more than money to me. I will never return there and anyone asking advice in Lehi I will tell them to avoid shop and many people ask me for recommendations due to my vast experience in automotive. I normally don't do review's and let the universe take care of people who treat other's this badly I felt this to be necessary.

Asked to replace headlight bulbs while replacing brakes as one was out. Provided 2 bulbs. Charged me $100 in labor because they "had to remove the bumper to replace the bulb." They only replaced one. I replaced the other myself in 10 minutes and noticed I now have a loose bumper missing 4 connectors. Did I mention I had to call them to find out if vehicle was ready?

This place used to be great. Did management change or something? Now you pull up and there are four or five of them standing around in the bays with their hands in their pockets. I sat there for ten minutes waiting for one of the schlubs to acknowledge i was there. I'm done here, after using checkered flag for over a decade.
