About Fox Run Auto

Fox Run Auto in Philadelphia is a repair shop first - Pennsylvania emissions and safety inspections among the offerings - and the reviews describe the kind of place AAA recommends when a tire shop's bad wheel mount shears a lug. Anthony sources oddball parts (seven different Kia taillights, apparently) with cost estimates before ordering, and Mike's team kept a Mercedes SUV four days specifically to confirm the fix held.

Brake work gets described as fairly estimated and done within a day. The negative reviews mostly come from long-time customers whose visits went sideways, which is its own kind of signal about expectations here. Rated 4.7 across 1,600+ reviews.

Anthony went out of his way to get the part I needed. He told me approx how much it was going to cost before ordering. Apparently Kia makes like 7 different taillight assembles for that year and model so I was happy he got the right one the first try. Passed inspection!

Outstanding experience from start to finish! I brought my vehicle in for a full brake flush and couldn't be happier with the service. Scheduling the appointment was seamless, and they got me in right on time without any delay. The quality of the service job is top-notch; my brakes feel absolutely perfect and responsive now. While the technician worked, I waited in their customer lounge, which was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and that made the time fly by. The staff was transparent, professional, and kept me updated throughout. It is rare to find an auto repair shop that excels in efficiency, technical skill, and customer comfort all at once. I highly recommend them for any maintenance needs!

A local tire shop did a bad job remounting a wheel and my tire sheared off. Fortunately AAA recommended Fox Run Auto Service. They did a great job in replacing the hub and getting me back on the road. Price was reasonable under the circumstances. Great communication and speed of repair. Will use these guys again in the future.

Fox run auto is amazing! Mike and his team of technicians are great! I dropped my Mercedes SUV off last Wednesday and they kept it for 4 days to make sure what I brought it in for was necessary. I had received a estimate from the dealership for something came shaft adjusters and I decided to take it to Fox Run Auto as they work on my Cadillac regularly for the maintenance and upkeep of that vehicle so I took it to them and told them what I was told by the dealership. Mike assured me that he would diagnose the issue and repair it! Mike drove it several times his technicians drove it several times over the course of 3 days and they Even did a 49 point system check which checks everything thing from the battery to the engine and found nothing wrong except a headlight. I asked Mike if I could get those camshaft adjusters change anyway Mike refused to charge me money for something that his state of the art scanner equipment and his years of expertise could not find wrong with my vehicle. He gave my car an excellent bill of health and even with me having a newer Mercedes all the computer components was checked as well. Anthony replaced the headlight ordered the assembly and drove the vehicle one more time himself before calling me to retrieve my truck. Those guys are amazing!!!!!! They are honest and trustworthy! I will from now on be taking my Mercedes there for every service need. I can’t say enough about these guys and their knowledge and professionalism. I love these guys❤️ if you have any automotive needs don’t waste time with the rest these guys are the best hands down!

We've been here several times in the last few months for my wife's and mother's cars. I was impressed with the customer service of everyone there and was positively stunned at how much lower the costs were in comparison to other places we've been to. Great place to go to!

Well- where do I start? One of the best automotive repair shop I’ve ever used for my mechanical work! Very knowledgeable, professional and organized but above all friendly. Felt like I’ve known these folks for years. Vinny was outstanding and really cared about both our vehicles even though our car is almost 20 yrs old. Thanks again Fox Run Auto! We’ll be using you folks for any upcoming maintenance.

They did a great job changing my brakes. They gave a fair and reasonable estimate. Work was quickly done. I was in and out within a day with no issues. The brakes are working great so far and no issues with them as well.

It's been a couple of years getting my e90 BMW 328xi serviced at Fox Run, and they have been excellent in every way. They stood behind their work on the power steering pump, making sure it was done right, despite some tough luck with parts, and recently worked to go above and beyond on some electrical repairs involving the windows and power locks. The staff is great, prices are more than fair (great work ain't cheap), and the work is top notch. Great shop and folks who have ridden to the rescue more than once. This review is long overdue.

My husband and I bring our cars here for service. They are always cordial and attentive, I called a few days ahead to schedule service and they even provided me with a rental - now that’s customer service! Fair pricing, quick turnaround, and quality work. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop. Happy customer :o)

I have to say. It breaks my heart to write this review. As it’s a long one too. I used to happily do business with this auto shop, but now I have no faith in them and feel extremely taken advantage of. After many satisfied oil changes, quick services, filter changes etc. I finally paid off my car I march. And of course at the end of February, right before it was paid off, I stated to get “engine over heating” messages. I panicked and noticed my coolant container under the hood would keep decreasing. So I immediately called Fox run auto and they were so sweet to help me get it in that day to diagnosis. They called me and gave me the diagnosis that the coolant leaked into the water pump system and thermostat. It was $1600 to fix… As a teacher, that is a lot to put out financially but I did it having full faith in them…. The next day I pick it up, I notice my AC was suddenly not working. ( I use my ac almost everyday. Even in the winter as I run super hot) so it was second nature for me to turn it on and immediately realize it was not working. I called back and they said it could have been they forgot to plug the AC unit back in. They asked when I could bring it back, which was about a week after since I had an important conference to go to. I brought it back as early as possible. I get a call at work saying it would cost $1800 to fix as I now need a new compressor. I didn’t understand why, as it wasn’t broken u til it got out of their care. The mechanic supervisor told me it’s $1200 in labor. He said it’s not their fault as the general inspection doesn’t check the AC since I would’ve “ had to tell them to put a special dye in it to check the AC.” Why would I say that if I thought and knew my AC was working fine before that and didn’t need to be checked? So now a month and a half later, I’ve been looking around and have to try getting estimates from other mechanics. It’s sad, as I feel so taken advantage of being a younger woman who was talked to by the supervisors and owner like I was clueless. The supervisor even said to me, “ Yea I know it looks bad but it’s not our fault.” “ The engine over heating could’ve melted something on the compressor or caused damage to it.” So they had these thought but did not bother to check it and let me know originally when they had to make me instead have to bring it in again and pay another $1200 in labor… Very upsetting and now losing a loyal customer.
