I had a great experience at this smog shop. The staff was friendly, professional, and made the entire process quick and hassle-free. They explained everything clearly, got me in and out faster than I expected, and the pricing was fair. It’s hard to find honest and efficient service these days, and this shop definitely delivered. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a smog check!

I wanted to recommend Golden Star Smog for your vehicle's smog and maintenance needs. I have been taking my cars to them for years, and they have always provided great service at a reasonable price. when I got there right away was very greeted by a gentleman ask me what I needed. told him a small check. he said fine. he told me to go inside and I was being taken care of. very nice. clean place. very friendly guys

First time here. These guys are great. Place has about five people waiting but they are at a good pace and only it’s 4:53 pm. Guys are all welcoming and on their shit. All their certifications are on display for viewing and they offer many other services as well. Place is very clean and waiting is nice!

100% best smog place in town! These great gentlemen will get you in and provide the best smog test! Ever since the place closed down in French Camp, I’ve brought 8 cars here since December 2021. They’re honest and work efficiently. They’re super cool guys who works professional and tell you what fails so you can come back once everything is fixed and ready to go. Back in public after several months of SIP! First order of business was a smog test. Great place in Stockton for a smog. The staff is ultimately friendly and have excellent customer service. I called to see if the had time for a smog and the gentleman said come on down and few minutes later the job was done. Looks like this is going to be a permanent business in my book.

I pull up. I present them my renewal notice and he goes inside to the side they do inspections on. After 8 minuites, dude comes back to me and says he can make it pass. I believed him as I wanted a certificate. I checked all my monitors as 2009 and below dont support permanent codes criteria. Evap monitor was still not set, and there were no visual tampers. All I did was change the battery , and didnt wait for evap to set. Is this how the smog check works? I went back home and read the smog check referance guide, called BAR feild office and confirmed. After filing a complaint , I decided to follow up with the department of consumer affairs as thats where the license is obtained from. Dont be scammed and tricked into believing that techs will look for an easier way to make money. Maybe they're new in business, maybe they support other activity with the money, but find old reliable shops that stay in business longer.
