Absolutely outstanding service. Our Ford EcoSport developed an exhaust problem that turned into a huge ordeal. Parts were unavailable and nationally backordered, and we were repeatedly told that only a specialized shop could handle the repair. Other shops made the problem sound difficult, expensive, and nearly impossible to resolve. These guys simply inspected it, welded the damaged section, installed a new flex pipe, and had the car fixed the same day—for $390. No drama, no runaround, and no attempt to inflate the job into something bigger than it was. The repair was handled quickly, professionally, and at a very fair price. After everything we had been through trying to get this fixed, the ease and competence here were remarkable. This is exactly what an honest, capable neighborhood repair shop should be. They have absolutely earned our trust and our strongest recommendation.

My clutch master cylinder went out on me and they were able to get me in pretty quickly and were super friendly! Excellent service and excellent work!

This is the only auto shop I will go to in Troy. They are excellent, friendly, and efficient. I had a problem with a sensor on my car and tried fixing it myself, but did not solve the problem. I explained to them everything and they understood what I was able to do, but troubleshot and solved what really caused my problems. It was quickly fixed, and it was a pleasant surprise to find that they were able to do it under the estimated budget. This nice, family run business set the bar for all of my auto shop experiences. This shop will take your money without completing work. Had my spark plugs “changed” back in November. Fast forward to the day before New Year’s EVE and I break down in Boston on the interstate, car shaking violently out of control. Took it to a different shop and they told me there was NO WAY they were changed, they were clearly old. Called McKay’s back and the best they could offer was to maybe refund the parts. Told them there was no way I was driving back to Boston for garbage spark plugs and they refused to help me since. They did not touch my car while they had it, I even picked it up in the exact same parking spot that I left it in. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. They will 100% steal your money if you are going in just for maintenance. I will be filing a charge back with my bank.
