I recently took my 2013 Fiat 500 to Muskegon Brake & Tire for an oil change, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. It’s refreshing to find a business where you genuinely feel like a valued customer instead of just another appointment on the schedule. What impressed me most was their honesty and professionalism. They took the time to explain everything clearly, never tried to upsell me on services I didn’t need, and treated my car with care and respect. It’s obvious they take pride in doing quality work and building trust with their customers. Reliable, honest, professional, and genuinely kind are words that perfectly describe my experience. It’s not always easy to find an automotive shop you can feel completely confident recommending, but Muskegon Brake & Tire has certainly earned that trust. Thank you for the outstanding service. My sons brake line failed, and we needed it fixed quickly. Muskegon brake got it done timely, at a reasonable cost, including a AAA discount. And no accidents since! Great work, and the staff at the counter was great to work with. I also appreciate the laundry list of other items we should consider getting fixed in the not too distant future, including level of urgency.

Recently moved to Muskegon and found myself stranded without brakes. Not having to need a mechanic yet, I was in dire need to find one fast. They did a great job replacing my brake lines at a fair price. I guess it was lucky for me that they had “Brake” right in their name seeing that was my immediate need, because while there, it was very obvious that their services go way beyond brakes and tires. I’ve been there again for taillight issues and received the same great service.

I was able to get an appointment immediately and the work was completed quickly while I waited. The waiting room is comfortable and secure. I was informed of issues quickly and processes were thoroughly explained allowing me to make an informed decision. I recommended this business to my son!

I appreciated being able to take my vehicle in, get my air fixed, and be treated kindly. Always liked Muskegon Brake and they show why they are still one of the garages people trust. They didn't try to sell me anything else, which i thought was nice, since they knew I have a regular mechanic.

They were very professional, affordable and polite. A complete inspection is just 35 dollars and is waived if you have the service done. They also offer a Free Shuttle starting at 8:15am running until 4:30 pm.

I have a 1976 corvette stingray and the corvette mechanic ( forgot his name ) was very knowledgeable on what needed to be done plus he taught me a few things about the car they have been servicing my corvette for the last 5-6 years and I’ll never go anywhere else when I have a question or need service great job to the business and mechanic!!! I’m a very satisfied costumer!!

I recently moved to Muskegon from a place I had lived for the past 25 years. Thus, it was beyond reassuring to find a local, friendly, and trusted automotive maintenance shop. From the first call to set up the appointment, to my error of going to the Broadway store versus Whitehall store, I was treated like a longtime customer. The ladies at the Broadway store were wonderful after notifying me of my error, able to get me in right away at the Broadway store, and placed the call to the Whitehall store to let them know of my error. This place has great customer service! They keep in touch with periodic updates & can fix not just your brakes but change oil, replace wipers & put in a new battery, all in one afternoon. Especially good since my car is a BMW. Thank you all who participated in helping get my car up & running again.
