My control board went out so I had No AC for almost two months no shop wanted to do it. Called this place they said bring it over. They figured out the problem ordered the parts and gave me a great deal. I’m no longer sticking to the seats or sweating out of them. Great customer service. Thanks again Dan .

Schummers is my go to mechanic in Philly. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car. They provide excellent service at the most reasonable prices. I know I can trust them for any work that is necessary and their honesty and reliability are top tier. They work quickly and efficiently to maintain all my needs. 10/10 absolutely recommend.
I would have given him five stars, but when my mechanic closed down or my mechanic closed down, I had to find a new one, I chose Schumer's for a while I had no issues then I got a Chrysler 300.. in the begging I had no problem with his work.. I told him about the check engine light and because of a electric issue it stays on. Well I'll keep it short. My driver window stuck so he sealed it shut no it won't pass inspection.. because the check engine light wouldn't go out he kept coming up with things to do to make the light go out .. if it didn't he couldn't pass it .. it go off go back on. I told him it's electrical.. the breaks were bad he didn't fix only say get it looked at... They of course started to fail.. so I took to a very reputable mechanic ( no names) closer to my house. He said who did the breaks I told him his response was WOW really.! So everything is working correctly it's inspected. So instead of bleeding me dry .. and keep bringing it back.. it's all good with the stuff he couldn't fix. Like to seal my window knowing it wouldn't pass WHY? ANYWAY just cause he's a nice guy don't think his work is perfect or he cares for you're safety... Sent me away with a paid for break job that failed 2 months later. To me he just rigged it so I would have to come back and spend... SAFETY wasn't a worry for him and getting my car back on the road legally for work and pleasure he kept me bringing it back. After my other mechanic asked who did the work and then answered with wow! Really I started questioning everything that was done in my car like stuff that was just unnecessary I thought you didn't even just to get the light to check engine light to turn off told him it was broken it's electrical. He just kept coming up with reasons to fix because his computer would say so so let's read the computer and pay attention to the computer cuz obviously a human being couldn't know now I question things that I had to have done to my car like the spark plugs and coils all this other stuff expensive stuff no wonder why you let me pay over time like he'd let me make payments if I couldn't pay all at once I use cash at the time. I mean when the window went down and he couldn't get it back up instead of calling me and asked me if I knew about it I could have told him it sticks the button sticks he sealed it shut. That makes it so I can't get it inspected I have to get the window and the door fixed first again more money more money before the inspection you can't get the light to go out I told you it's electrical but it's not right by my words unless his computer tells him what it is, I had to get it fixed again and then he can't fix it professionally or his workers. He's a nice guy, but I was told by a good friend he heard they did bad work and I defended them and kept taking my cars there. MY BAD. So that's a nicer review than I was going to give.
Tried to scam me for inspection and said something with wrong with a bolt in my car and wanted me to fix it for 2000 dollars. Went to get it inspected somewhere else and it passed inspection. Please be aware!
I was told I had a alternator problem and also a thermostat problem got both fixed car broke down twice after getting the alternator fixed and I left the shop then I came back the next day and they said it was the thermostat and I paid again to get that fixed and I left the shop and then it broke down again minutes later. Called and Dan said it’s a break line problem. So I decided to take it to a different shop and I was told it was a transmission problem the entire time. I wish Schummer would have been honest instead of taking my money. I trusted this repair shop and I’ve wasted $1000 dollars. When I’am a college student just trying to be able to commute to school. I’m so sad I was scammed by them. I’m already going through financial hardship. Also they banged up the back of my car and also broke the key fob. I’m extremely sad and disappointed I’ve lost $1000 dollars trusting this shop and their mechanics left with more car problems and huge financial lost :(
