Dani was absolutely amazing and helped me get the job done in time to hit the road to get back to Vermont. Amazing place great service! I’ve been going to Smithtown Car Service for about five months now, and I honestly couldn’t imagine taking my car anywhere else. Everyone there is so kind, honest, and easy to talk to. Ana especially always puts my nerves at ease and makes the whole process so much less stressful. It’s such a great feeling knowing I can completely trust them with my car — and they genuinely care about their customers, not just the service. Highly, highly recommend!

I called to make an appointment for a motorcycle inspection and was told to bring it right in,as they would be able to do it when I arrived. Sure enough,I arrived and they took me right in.In doing so,I got to meet Hans(The owner)and one of his mechanics.I got to speak with Hans for a bit and let me just say,this guy is definitely a stand up Guy.He’s got a great personality,he’s personable ,has wonderful character and just a guy than anyone can click with.You can tell what kind of personality he has as,aside from talking to him,by what he surrounds himself in his shop.I feel that Smithtown Car Care Inc.just might be the best kept secret around. Thanks again Hans! A++

This was the best inspection I have ever had hands down! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I will always come back here for my automotive needs. Bonus: if you’re lucky, there are the cutest doggies to greet you while you wait 😁

I didn’t want to write this review but felt obligated to do so. Please see attached docs for proofs and date of service. First I’m going to say before they do as i noticed in the responses. You were chewing DWI people up in the comments but you not going to do me, I own my legal transcripts. People find this shop due to being licensed to provide an interlock. That’s how i came across it no issues with that and due to good service with that I came back for a different service. I had my AC compressor changed but my AC was not working. I wanted it looked at to why it didn’t work and the blower motor fan changed as I possessed that part as well. The fan wasn’t changed, I was told nothing about the compressor, and ac still didn’t work. I was charged 271 and change. He told me he took a metro card out of my fan which i believe is bs. Maybe greased it to stop the noise for a bit but eventually it came back. I then went to a HONEST shop, got a full vehicle diagnostic for almost $200, and come to find out it was the wrong compressor for my vehicle. I will be there for a refund sometime this week. What did i pay almost $272 for? What I believe is they do not really want to help you unless they can take full advantage of you. I HATE dishonesty and people being taken advantage of especially while times is hard THE MOST. Again like said pay attention to the response apparently they cant read or comprehend neither. I never said they did the ac compressor or fan. They shouldve did the fan though. They were paid to tell me why it wasn’t working but somehow never did nor addressed that fact. Tell the net what work you did for 272? Absolutely nothing besides being dishonest TERRIBLE i will see you tomorrow for my refund.

The Spanish mechanic was very rude extremely rude to the point where I am pressing charges. I am a female and very worried for my safety being anywhere near that place he looked at me like he was gonna rape me and I was so frightened. I just let him charge me whatever he wanted because I had to get out of there he started talking all nice and trying to touch me extremely disrespectful and hopefully he gets arrested for the charges that will soon meet him

I came here to get my car inspected which had no issues at the time. The mechanic told me my car failed inspection as suddenly the check engine lights came on while he was plugging in the CMU and also tried to talk me into getting the oil changed for 120$, later when I put the keys in the ignition again all lights shut off and then he told me another reason why he can’t proceed with the inspection as I have to complete a drive cycle. He also didn’t give me a temporary failed inspection sticker which gives 30 days for vehicle to not be fined. Not honest work and like to take advantage, would not recommend.
