My oil light came on so I went after work. It was a rainy day but the two techs that were there were so friendly and seemed ready to work. Alan was the tech that checked me out and I had a young lady (Esther) that actually did my oil change. I will definitely come back as they are near my new job. They were very fast and friendly and the price was reasonable.
I went there today because my car was showing that it was low in oil, and from the person who helped me find my way at the entrance, to Alan who helped me, they were all pleasant. Alan was very knowledgeable and checked everything, even my tires. That was my first time at a Valvoline and my first impression was great, so I'll definitely come back. Thanks for a great service guys.
I had a great experience at Valvoline. Tamy was very professional, respectful, and extremely helpful. He took great care of my GMC during the oil change service and made sure everything was done properly. He explained the process clearly and provided excellent customer service. Thank you, Tamy, for your professionalism and kindness. I truly appreciate the great service
Ernesto was a great help when we pulled up to this shop in Sugar Land. He was personable, let us know we needed some additional services without any pressure. We stopped for oil change and State Inspection and he showed us how our air filter was plenty dirty. We also took the opportunity to have them flush the transmission and changed fluids. We were getting ready for a trip so we were pleased to get our wiper blades replaced too. It was a good visit and were pleased with the overall care the guys took care of us as we waited.
I’ve been coming here for a couple of years- it’s in the best location! All the employees are polite, fast, efficient. I’m always in and out! Ernesto was my rep today and per usual, the best service! Makes an oil change/inspection an easy task!
Had a great experience getting my oil changed here! The service was quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. Ernesto was especially helpful—super attentive and made sure everything was done right. He took the time to explain what was going on and even checked a few extra things to make sure my car was in great shape. Will be coming back for my next service! Highly recommend.
Good service but I just had an oil change a couple of weeks ago (which cost over $100) and the low coolant warning went off…do wish they would have let me know that it was low or could have offered to fill it up; I would have gladly paid if I had been aware!
On December 13, I visited the Valvoline location at 2528 Highway 6 in Sugar Land, TX (77478), and had a very disappointing experience. I arrived with my two young children for an oil change and ended up waiting over an hour. During the service, the mechanic broke my dipstick inside the engine. With two young children in the car waiting to get to a birthday party, I am sure you can imagine the delay was extremely stressful. As a result of the issue, my check engine light came on, and I arrived more than 30 minutes late to my 8-year-old’s own birthday party. The staff informed me that a replacement part would be ordered and that they would follow up with me. After receiving no call by Monday morning at 10:00 a.m., I returned to the location on my own at 10:38 a.m. to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this visit was just as frustrating. The mechanics made multiple trips to the store because the incorrect part was ordered and then spent additional time attempting to remove the broken dipstick. This process took over an hour. Before leaving, I also had to remind the staff to update the oil amount in my vehicle. I did not leave until 11:48 a.m. Overall, this was a very poor experience from start to finish. I am hoping to hear from management regarding a refund or appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and delay. While the assistant manager offered a discount on a future oil change, I made it clear that I do not plan to return after this experience. **Update:** The manager called and offered a discount on a future service. As I explained to the assistant manager before leaving Valvoline, that doesn’t help when I don’t plan on returning. After a bad experience, it’s unreasonable to expect that a customer would want to come back—even with a discount. Paying 50% off still means spending another $30–$50 at a business that already provided poor service. The manager stated there was nothing else he could do, and the call ended.
I used to come here for great service and and a decent price, and now it seems like both of those things are gone. The workers were fine, they were just being rude and overall ghetto and loud, but they were somewhat polite towards me. but what seemed like their manager, his name was Semaj, was super rude and not understanding at all, we was being super aggressive about the price, they also charged me $60 when i brought my own oil and filter. It used to be $40 and even then it was steep. They also didn’t change my drain plug gasket or even asked me about it even though they said they would. This place sucks, I don’t recommend it at all!
