AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I took my 2015 Yukon Denali to AAMCO for a diagnosis after taking it to two other places and got two different diagnosis to find out that I need a Transmission. I will not hesitate to allow them to do my Transmission work. They are great.!

I have never been LESS stressed about leaving my car at the shop. Daniel and team made sure I was informed at every step as to what the issue was, next steps, and pricing changes. The turnaround time was incredible (less than a week). I will be using this shop for all future repairs!

The service I recieved was exceptional! Daniel was easy to work with. He went the extra mile to make sure my van was done on time at a reasonable cost, and presented many options to fit my budget. He kept me consistantly updated and and communiticated clearly the progress that was being made. I will be going back for any automotive care that I need, and I recomend that you do too.

I really enjoy this car care shop. Max and Daniel are who we work with the most and they’re always so kind as well as communicative. We’ve had both our cars in their shop and they are able to handle whatever is thrown at them! The shop is always clean and they finish their jobs quickly.

Max and Dan are the guys we've worked with. They were great! They explained everything that was going on with our car in ways we could understand. The shop was immaculate and the service finished quickly. The pricing was also very reasonable. We'll definitely be coming back here for our regularly scheduled maintenance!

Exceptional Service – Even as a Shop Owner, I Was Impressed My mother’s car broke down while she was in town and urgently needed to be back on the road. I own a repair shop myself about two hours away, so unfortunately, I couldn’t work on it. We took it to AAMCO, and Max got her in right away and handled everything with speed and professionalism. As a shop owner, I have high standards when it comes to repair quality — and I was truly impressed. Max and the team at AAMCO did an outstanding job. Their communication was clear, the turnaround was quick, and the quality of the work was top-notch. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust them with any of my vehicles. It’s not easy to earn that kind of trust from someone in the same industry, but they absolutely did. Highly recommend!

I have been a customer at AAMCO for at least seven years. The service has always been great! Daniel is exceptional !! He makes sure you have all you need. He goes above and beyond,he is courteous, respectful, and concerned. Please give him a raise!😉 The mechanics are great also..You can rest assured your vehicle will be in top condition!

Many shops don’t spend the time to thoroughly explain what the problem is with your vehicle and just want to throw a bill at you but the guys at AAMCO went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable especially with such major repairs needed. The best part was I needed to get some stuff out of my vehicle and come to find out the tech that was working on my vehicle was named Robert also and he showed me the failing parts from my truck. I was amazed at how thorough he was and his knowledge! I’m going to say Robert secured my trust in a shop again and AAMCO is my permanent go to for repairs.

Daniel made sure to give himself an out by saying that he couldn't guarantee that replacing the torque converter would solve the vibration issues between 25 and 35 mph. But he said that he thought it was very likely to fix it and $2500 was a lot less than paying for a brand new transmission. After keeping the car for 4 days, he reported that replacing the torque converter had not in fact resolved the problem, if anything it was worse and I would need to get a new transmission. If that would have been in the end of the story, I would have simply written it off as an honest mistake. But when I arrived to pick up my truck, Daniel conveniently had a used transmission that was available that he had happened to find that would fit my truck perfectly, was at a low price and I really better jump on it right away if I wanted it. I resisted this pressure and decided that I would drive home and think about my options. What a surprise when it turned out that the truck had been completely fixed and and it drove beautifully after having the torque converter replaced! The torque converter fix had in fact taken care of my transmission problem. Daniel completely lied when he said that it had failed and I needed a new transmission. His plan was to convince me to jump on a new transmission before even driving the vehicle and discovering that the torque converter had solved my problem. He claimed that they had driven it, and if anything, the vibration and slipping of the transmission was worse. This was an absolute lie!! Do not trust these people. They are Crooks.
