Air Team Vehicle Emissions Testing Station - Chicago

It was a lot more efficient than I had thought it would be. I went in the morning and I was in and out within 20 minutes. The staff were nice, patient and understanding. I would definitely recommend going here.

Direction signs to the facility were clearly posted. I arrived at lunch time and 4 testing lanes were opened with minimal queueing. The tech assigned to my lane was courteous and efficient, with successful testing completed in 3 minutes- I timed it! Sticker renewal was available on site, streamlining this annual chore. Overall it was a quick and painless experience.

Great experience. 1st time at this location. It was easy to find. No waiting. Drove in and out quickly. Closer and quicker for us Near West Suburban folks than driving on the highway to Addison and lining up. There's always a line.🫤

There was no line. Amazing. You could pick any lane, and be the next taken care of. Tito was my technician,and he was just so nice, and the test was a breeze. So glad the Forest Preserve Drive location is back in operation, hated that drive to Skokie. This is a much more pleasant and speedy location. Positive vibes.

Ive had to go twice since it opened back up and it’s quick in and out. I saw they installed the self service kiosk in the parking lot but I didn’t use it since there was no one in line. Even went in to purchase my plate sticker it was also a fast process!

Pulled right in no wait. Service rep was super courteous. I was also able to purchase my plate registration in the same building Again no wait courteous and help customer service representative.

The gentleman who was doing my test was so nice. I had a couple of questions because my test was due many months ago. (A little procrastination on my part due to my mother's death.) A lady walked up to us and said, "You're not so supposed to be standing around talking." The gentleman told her it was work related. Assuming this lady was leadership, she was rude and interrupted us. Because the gentleman was professional, i will still give them 4 stars and sending prayers to the rude leadership.

Came in today to do testing and license plate renewal. The staff were so kind and polite. I was in and out of there so fast. When I pulled up around 8 am I was the only one there. I appreciate their kindness and fast service. A very nice gentleman greeted me with a good morning and explained every step. The other workers around him also wished me a good morning. Very nice

Let's be honest, no one wakes up excited to get their emissions test done. But if it has to happen, this particular station makes the process as painless as possible. It's quick, organized, and efficient, the DMV could take notes. The process here moves surprisingly fast. The staff keeps things flowing and before you know it, you're back in your car. The only real downside? Having to go out of your way to do it at all, it's one of those errands that's never convenient. The silver lining is location. This spot is surrounded by solid restaurant options, turning an annoying errand into an excuse for a quick meal afterward. Think of it as emissions testing with a reward system. It also helps that this is a convenient location for the north west side of the city.
