Quick and easy testing experience, usually has short lines but can be a longer wait on the weekends. Nice that you can also go into the office to renew your registration and get a new sticker for your license plate, to save time on waiting for one in the mail.
They were fast and friendly. I literally drove right into a bay and was done in less than 5 minutes. I did stop in the office after to get my sticker as well and its a third party that charges like $9 as a convenience and processing fee for the sticker which is a bit much, but I was there so I just got it rather than go a slower cheaper route.
I was supposed to write this a month ago lol! I came up here and dealt with Doug. He was BEYOND fantastic! You can tell when a person has good energy and that completely radiates from him. Super cool guy with quick professional service. If you need an emissions test bring your behind here ASAP AND ASK FOR DOUG!!!
I needed to renew the registration and get the updated stickers. They accept debit and credit card. They have 4 docks for the emission test and all 4 lines moves pretty quick!
There was about a two minute wait. I'm sure they have their busy times, but lunch time on a Friday was no problem today. Was there for less than 10 minutes. Good experience.
Overall Good and convenient experience. Staff seemed a little worn down, but no surprise it was 90° outside. They weren't rude. I would have preferred to know up front the fee for renewing my plates there with a posted sign or something, along with knowing that their tap to pay doesn't accept Mastercard unless the physical card is present.
♿️ I went to take the smoke test, the man who helped me asked me to get out, I told him I couldn't get out because I'm paralyzed from the waist down, (I drive with hand controls). He got upset and told me to try to get out! I said I couldn't! There isn't enough room to go down the ramp of my van! He said, "Well, I need you to get out, I can't do my job like this." He called a very nice lady and she said to him: "How do you want her to get out? She's telling you she's paralyzed from the waist down!" He didn't know what to say, and she was the one who finished the test. The annoyed man told me the results and gave me a sheet of paper. They need to have more information and amenities for a person with disabilities! How sad that these days there is so much ignorance about this subject!!!
I was just there with my mother doing a smoke test for her car, unfortunately the guy that took care of us was a nightmare, he was racist, told us that if we couldn’t speak English to go back to our country. He stated “this is america” just because we couldn’t really hear what he was saying. But I speak and understand English perfectly and that is unacceptable in 2025 and in general.
