Have been coming here for all things car maintenance and inspections for over two years. Joe and Jeff are honest and communicative, explain what needs to be done and get approval before doing anything. Would recommend to anyone looking for reliable quality service.

CRAZY long over due to do a review for them. Been goin to them about 13 years. Absolutely the best shop in the area; Joe and Jeff both take good care of you, they'll walk you through why your car needs xyz before they get approval for any work, it never feels like they're tacking things on to the bill that aren't needed, the turn around times are insanely fast, and they'll work with you as much as they can. Hard to find a shop as honest and as fairly priced!

These guys are awesome, very honest and I appreciate that 1000%. I had an old honda crv when one of the guys after inspecting it here just told me straight up "I wouldn't put anymore money into this one if I was you". It was an old beater but with his recommendation I retired that car. I really really appreciated that because I knew they weren't just trying to drain people of money. So far been here with my new vehicle for some tire changes and a state inspection. I wish we could of met sooner haha. Thanks again!!

These guys are top in my mechanic list, they're honest, dependable, and will tell you straight up the issue with your car. I've been coming to Dry Harbor for over 6 years, they were recommended by a friend and been coming here since.

My longtime mechanic retired, so I was searching for a new repair shop nearby. I decided to stop here after reading their Google reviews and met Joe. He was very friendly, took care of my vehicle, and even got it back to me the same day despite my late drop-off. Thanks, Joe!

I have come here a few times for work on my Subaru and the owner seems trustworthy. He is very friendly and willing to work with you. The staff is equally friendly. Prices are a bit higher but not overpriced. It's probably in line with the area. I did reduce one star for the higher rates.

They wanted me to wait 2 to 3 hours for a safety only inspection for a brand new car. Ain’t gonna happen. Went to Carmine’s automotive center and I was on my way in 15 minutes. Response to the comment: I did not expect to be served before any other customers but I got there at 8:30am and it was no other customer waiting. I did not see any worked being performed at any of your cars waiting in the shop either. Since my car was brand new it only needed a safety inspection which could have been done pretty quickly. Yes, I gave the Carmine’s place a shout out because they took care of me quickly despite the fact that they were actually working at that time on other cars. I guess my $10 safety inspection wasn’t worth your time.

Completely Unprofessional and Disorganized I came on Saturday for a simple NY State inspection. The man at the counter told me he couldn’t take my car because he was hungry and they were closing soon. He told me to come back Monday morning. When I returned Monday, the person at the desk who looked very similar to the man from Saturday, though he claimed he wasn’t , suddenly told me I had to leave my car. None of this was mentioned before. The shop was almost empty, with only a few cars parked outside and no one working on them, yet they still refused to take me for a quick inspection. This shop wasted my time twice and gave completely different instructions each visit. Very unprofessional and poorly managed.

He doesn't know anything about car repair. His prices are very expensive. He doesn't respect anyone. I don't advise anyone to go there ever.
