I've heard really good things about Farmington Car Care, and when we needed a repair, these guys went above and beyond, exceeding our expectation in every way possible. We had a nagging noise in the car that no service shop was seemingly able to fix, and these guys got it done for us so fast. We will be back next time we need any level of repair.

This car care repair show is second to none. They do good work and very inexpensive in comparison to a car dealership. This place is definitely a car dealership alternative. Nadia was friendly and knowledgeable and addressed my concerns. I will patronage this company when I need any type of auto repair.

I will be bringing my vehicle back the next time my car needs any level of repair. I had heard positive remarks about this repair shop in the past. When it was time for work to be done on my car, they surpassed expectations. I encountered a flashing engine light, called them, and they got me in same-day to help diagnose the issue and offered a solution. They did not price gouge for such a critical repair. I was treated with respect and had all the details of the issue explained. On top of everything they were very kind and friendly.

I decided to give Farmington Car Care a try based on the strong positive reviews, and it did not disappoint. The team there was able to give us a better deal on brakes and rotors than I could find anywhere else. Friendly staff and great prices will bring us back again. If your in the need of automotive repair, think outside the box and support local business!

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. Took my car in because the A/C wasn’t working. They put the wrong kind of refrigerant in it so now a real shop won’t even touch my car, (took it to a different shop and they found that there was 25% R-134a in my R1234yf system which left me with no option but to go back after A/C stopped working again about a week later, or drive 1-2 hours away to a specialty recycling center to have them purge the system completely.) Got home after they worked on it the second time and popped the hood to find they left a rag sitting in my engine bay and left the cap to the low side line valve off. Called them and told them and was told to come right back so they could fix it. Wasted my time going back there for the mechanic who did the work to say he dropped the cap in the engine bay and couldn’t retrieve it, and they didn’t have a replacement. They are hacks. Do not trust this shop to work on your vehicle.

Ripped us off and didn’t fix the car. Next Mechanic showed us how they did everything wrong and didn’t even bolt in a part. Quoted one thing and charged something else. $2200 charge for a car that was worse after they worked on it. I’m referring to the Farmington Car Care right next to Belle Tire on Orchard Lake north of Grand River. Should have paid attention to the fact that there is never anyone there.

My daughter went in because it was a noise under car because heat shield was dragging and half way off the frame, she left in less than 20 minutes. 10 min of talking and 10 minutes of labor. They charged her $78 (30 minutes labor) they no different take advantage of women. They even started dogging her car saying “these engines are bad but don’t bring it here” $25 is all should have been charged to remove piece plastic! Go here if you want but I wouldn’t send my mother, aunt or daughter here!
