Very friendly atmosphere. They helped me out with a pretty simple repair all the other shops on plymouth rd gave me a hard time about. It was done in ten minutes instead of waiting all day and they gave me a very fair price. Love it, thanks alot!

Al was an awesome person to deal with. He installed drag radials on my wheels that other shops wouldn’t touch. He said “no problem!” even had them done at my 2PM dead line. Amazing customer service. They definitely gained a new partnership.

This is a great shop. I felt that the staff was up front and honest from the second I walked in door. My issue was very labor intensive so I had to leave my vehicle for a couple days, but they communicated with me every step of the way. I also appreciated that they did a multipoint courtesy inspection. It’s nice to know if there are any potential future issues that can be addressed before becoming major issues. I will highly recommend them and I will be using them in the future.

Very happy with the service from The Detroit Garage. Robert was very helpful and got my new transmission and turbo put in without any delays. Went above and beyond to make sure I got the best parts and my car is driving like it’s brand new. Can’t thank you guys enough. Shout out to the technician who replaced my transmission. I really like this shop in Plymouth mi they took my Diesel truck in and repaired it in a timely manner as I requested with no issues. I love the interaction through the website on approvals for work to be done photos documentation of what work is being done and what wasn’t being done. What needs to be done and what can be done to make my truck safer and OEM correct. Personal at this shop i dont know them but they treated me like i was their only customer. I will be bringing in my work vehicle to get work done also all the rest of my vehicles to be worked on they’ve earned my trust. The diesel mechanic knows what he’s doing. The bill was was explained and I had no issues on paying for the quality work that I had done at the establishment thank you Customer for as long as they are in business.

So I did a lot of work on my baby, Lizzy, to get her back in shape after some codes. A previous shop didn't tighten the plugs on the tune up messed up the coils Yada so I fixed it and tune up myself. OMG misfire cylinder 2 and 4. Towed to this shop and one of the plugs I installed was cracked. Needless to say, I thought it was going to be way more expensive than it was. 😅 They were friendly, fair priced, and no more flashing CEL! I will have traction control this winter!

Came in for a tire patch for a wheel I’d been having issues with all week. I wasn’t able to get in the day I called, but they were really quick to get me in next day. Service was pretty fast and priced fairly. Thanks for getting me in next day and back on the road!

If you’re new to the neighborhood—We love this place. Just had a surprise brake light assembly issue on a Ford Escape, and they drove to my house to pick it up, repair it and bring it back. I paid online and kept working today while Dan took care of my car. Plymouth Garage is a hometown garage like our old school garage where they remember your name, take care of your car as if was their car and treat you like family. When you’re a regular, they work to squeeze you in and make sure you’re safe and ready for the last minute road trip or get you through that surprise repair. They are also among the few who work on the more rare vehicles as well as the family everyday vehicles. We’ve always felt comfortable, as women, knowing Dan will do all he can to give us the most fair price possible and keep us safe on the road. Today was a perfect example. Thanks again!

Drove my car 7 miles further just to go to this place after talking to them on the phone. The mechanic sounded nice on the phone and like he knew what he was talking about but when I got there he told me he's not even sure he's interested in getting into it. Then proceeds to ask the guy sitting right behind him and then he says I don't know the guy that specializes in that is on vacation yeah right!!! Would not recommend this place to anyone because of time wasted and the refusal to even look at my car.
