When you don't have much time and wanted to deal with honest and friendly people, 'Great People' is not only a name. They really are. No appointment necessary. Service with a smile.
So fast! In and out in 3 minutes! I found this place on Google Maps and saw the photos of what paper work to have ready but when I pulled up they also asked for my old safety check which made me scramble a little to find in my glove compartment. I was out of there by 7:58am even though it says they open at 8am! Amazing! Will definitely be returning here next year and recommending to others!
Absolutely wonder made it super easy and fast!! Even recommended me to Solar Tint down the street to get my tint removed! Wonderful people couldnt ask for a better experience!
These guys really are great people. Quick, efficient, fair, great price, and they have two old-timey pay phones! This is the place to get your vehicle inspected on Oahu. Look no further. Get there early; they manage parking well, but there isn’t much space. Thanks, Great People!
Great experience with the staff here. No nonsense. One of the guys sounds like your typical New Yorker that values speed (which I appreciate!) In and out in under 5 minutes if you have all your paperwork. Just be careful of the road outside the shop since they are constructing something and the one lane traffic funnel is right outside the turn into shop.
Quick drive-in safety check, no appointment needed. You'll be done so quickly that you'll barely have time to wonder why you just paid a guy $35 to watch you use your indicators and then fail you because you don't have rego because you can't get rego until you fail a safety check, or why rego is even required for a 'safety' check, or after seeing cars around the island that are a one strong breeze away from the scrapyard what it even takes to fail a safety inspection, or why someone from the county couldn't conduct the safety check instead of forcing us to donate to these 'mechanics' in some strange roundabout form of welfare. Nope, you'll be out of there in no time. Money for jam, well done guys.
Very quick and very easy. Got there around 2 and drove right up. Just make sure you got all your paperwork and follow the directions and you’ll be in and out in less than 10 minutes. WARNING: Don’t go if you’re in a bad mood. The one uncle there is kind of grumpy but if you just take it with a grain of salt it’s no problem. Just the way he is.
I’ve been coming to this automotive shop for a while now, and they continue to impress me every time. The service is consistently great—friendly, professional, and efficient. I really appreciate how quick & efficient this place is. One of the things I love most is how easy and convenient the safety check process is—no appointment needed, and they get it done fast without compromising quality. It’s such a relief to know I can just stop in when I need to and be taken care of with no hassle. If you’re looking for honest, reliable, and convenient automotive service, this is the place to go!
Quick safety check for just $26. Stay in your car, step on your brake when asked, turn windshield wipers on when told, etc. Easy!
First they told me to remove the tint to pass safety. TintPro around the corner confirmed there was no tint, just stock glass, and it passed with 72. Took it back they still refused me, saying I need a special letter from Kapahulu Road Test Center (DMV) allowing my unusual glass color. I went there, they told me there's no such thing as a letter for that. Tried calling them back to ask question but never answered. Why did they refuse? I did everything they said and they don't know what they're doing? It was a 2017 Mercedes b250e by the way, the glass looks a bit purple in sunlight.
