About Jiffy Lube
This Essex Junction Jiffy Lube handles work fleets and daily drivers with polite, prompt oil changes - the $15 website coupon brings synthetic down to a sane price, and they'll tell you what can wait rather than stacking services. Walk-ins get taken when other nearby shops are booking days out.
The negative reviews matter here: a pad-and-rotor job that needed redoing, a mouse-nest discovery handled badly, and a 45-minute quote that doubled with an empty shop. Fine for oil; take brake work elsewhere. Vermont has no emissions testing. Rated 4.5 across 800 reviews.

I always get my oil changed here & these guys are the best! Quick, efficient & friendly.
I bring my work vehicle to this location and the guys are great for oil changes. Polite, professional, and never had any issues. They are also prompt, even when they get a little busy.
Quick efficient service, a little pricey but I did get a 15.00 discount coupon by visiting the website. So that brought an oil change for synthetic down to just shy of $100.
Needed a place for a quick oil change. I stopped at another place nearby and was informed that they would not be able to fill me in until a few days later. We drove to Jiffy Lube and were promptly helped by two wonderful gentlemen. I highly recommend this location! They were professional and very thorough.
Excellent service always. They are great about telling me what my car needs and working with me to figure out the most affordable options. Even when they tell me there is a long wait, they always get me out quicker than expected which I appreciate. The guys there are quick to the point which may come off as a little gruff to some, but when dealing with my car I need that kind of communication. Would recommend to family/friends to go here.
Mostly smooth oil change, although they could be a bit more involved. Takes less than 15mins. Just seems like their systems are a little clunky for as many as they do/have done.
Oil change on my 2026 Honda CR-V. They broke the fasteners on the engine splash shield, zip-tied it back up, and didn’t say a word. Tails still hanging toward the road. The clips cost a couple of dollars. Manager refused to make it right and told me he didn’t care.
Understaffed - insanely slow. Expect 1hour of just sitting in a bay. 2 hours total with one person in front.
I was the only vehicle in the shop when I pulled up. Lenny quoted me 45 minutes for a tire rotation and oil change. Came back an hour later and the truck still wasn’t done. After Lenny explained to me that customers who request tire rotations aren’t as important as oil change customers, he told me they’d no longer have time to do the tire rotation. Go somewhere else that is honest and upfront about the time frames provided, the services performed, and the customer hierarchy they have in place, because Lenny and Jiffy Lube on Pearl St ain’t it.
OMG! These guys are complete idiots. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR OR TRUCK TO THE ESSEX JUNCTION LOCATION! I had a bunch of seed shells from mice around my air cleaner cover when I opened my hood. I spoke to the manager and asked him to be sure to clear all of the seeds away before opening the air cleaner compartment. When done, I got 1/4 mile out of the lot when an emergency warning light came on. I brought it back, they fiddled with some codes and the car would not run. I had to call a tow truck, bring to another shop. They opened the air cleaner compartment and it was full of seeds, and this is after they had supposedly cleaned and replaced the filter! The repair shop's code read that the intake manifold and the injection manifold were clogged. It was full the the seeds that they let drop in the manifold. I brought the bill for repair back to the manager and he told me that I had been negligent by letting mice get into my car. I live in the country and do not garage my car. Anyway, he told me he couldn't clean up the seeds because he did not have vacuum cleaner! Like an air hose or a brush couldn't have cleared the way? He would not pay for the repairs that he had caused. You can do better if you love yourself. They score a -100 on my review. May lightning strike the target I am painting on their roof.
Made the mistake of bringing my Subaru here for a pad and rotor change. They charged me for the pads and the rotors. About a year and 5k miles later, the car felt wrong. Brought it into a Subaru dealer, they immediately told me that the rotors were original (I bought the car new), and that all the scarring on these 40k mile old rotors had destroyed my new brake pads. Jiffy Lube did not change my rotors at all, and it was quite obvious. They merely replaced my brake pads and charged me for the rotors. The photos show this clearly. I called them regarding. They said they would forward to the district manager. No one called me for a week. I called back, and the AGM Gary was really polite, but essentially told me that it had been over a year (barely) so they couldn't and wouldn't do anything to remedy this. This wasn't a bad job done or a parts warranty issue. They literally did not do the work at all!! That's completely insane. Beware if you get anything done here...they may just charge you hundreds of dollars for work that was never even done at all. Finally, the biggest issue of all aside from what amounts to defrauding you, they may put you and your family in danger by not fixing your brakes...as was the case here 100%.
