About Ohio E-Check
The self-serve kiosk is the hero at this Cleveland-area E-Check site: under five minutes, easy instructions, and repeat customers who've DIY-tested every time. When the kiosk goes down, the staff salvages the visit - one gentleman squeezed customers in during the last 20 minutes before closing. Tae, the manager, even helped a customer secure an E-Check waiver for a broken Kia Soul.
One Copley Road visitor had two machines fail to read their OBD and got sent elsewhere, so older cars occasionally hit equipment limits. The test itself is free. Rated 4.2 across 700 reviews.

The self service kiosk is awesome, I was in and out in 5 minutes.
Quick and easy. It sucks that we have to do it, but the speed makes it easier to deal with. Just go and get it done. Self service takes less than 5 minutes!
So I have been here a couple of different times, Normally , I end up using the self serve kiosk to just save time. Fail , d check last year and then vehicle went down and wasn't able to get repairs done, Follow the instructions of the last echeck worker, I was able to get the repairs done and documented. I took this information yesterday to this location and wintonside and spoke with somebody , and they were super kind and very professional And they help me get my problem solved. I've never had an issue with rude people here, The lines are honestly never that long, Although I have been here when it gets busy sometimes. If you are trying to go without the extra headache , this is the place to choose.
Used self service kiosk. Easy to follow instructions. Completed task in less than 5 minutes!
Tae is an awesome manager!!! He was so helpful with getting me an E-check wavier for my broken kia soul! I appreciate him and his wonderful customer service!
DIY E-Check has worked perfectly every time I've been there.
Went here to do the self e check but it was down. Fortunately it was about 20 mins before they closed and 1 gentleman was working. He got us in and out quickly. Good job!
Was there today. The gentleman was happy and helpful. He even complimented me on my driving skills.
The Copley Road location told me my OBD was not working, so my car could not be tested. They tried two machines and neither worked. I was advised to go to the dealer for this issue. The dealer easily accessed my on-board computer on two devices without doing a thing to the car. I passed without incident at the location off of Whipple Road location. My recommendation ... avoid the Copley Road location! They wasted my time.
This needs to go away, its only in a few counties in ohio.. its a big waste of time and effort because the rest of the state doesn't do this. So it accomplishes nothing...
