About Oil N' Go
Oil N' Go (Vermont) rescued a Quebec-to-New-Y York traveler whose car ran out of oil mid-leak through the state - right in, topped off, pointed at the leak. The manager walks to your car, keeps it quick without an appointment, and flags things worth checking rather than selling them.
Watch the bill: $154 for a basic tire change and a $12 'premium oil' surcharge on a quoted $54.99 - the wrenching is good, the invoicing needs attention. Vermont safety inspection territory. Rated 4.4 across 300 reviews.

I pulled in the other day needed an oil change they got me right in pointed out a couple of things that also if they could take the time to look at and a check things and we're able to advise me correctly told me to get the parts I needed for something else and that they would install it. They have my business from now on!
Super friendly folks, we were on the way to New York from Quebec and when passing through Vermont, our car ran out of oil as apparently it’s been leaking and smelling burning plastic. We found Oil N’ Go and they understood our situation and were gracious enough to pull our car in, take a look and confirmed that the car was okay to drive and the oil leak was just from whoever topped off the engine oil (which was a BMW dealer 🙄) leaking it all over the place. They didn’t charge us a single penny and sent us on our way feeling much better! Thank you so much!
I always have the best experience with this location! This afternoon, the manager came out to my car, was incredibly friendly, and made the whole process quick and easy. I was in and out in about 10 minutes, and he explained everything clearly and thoroughly. Excellent customer service—highly recommend them to anyone looking for fast, professional service!
I just left with my car. very fast service WHITOUT APPOINTMENT, very professional. Thank you so much I will be back soon.
Friendly and professional service, reasonable wait times, and great results. I'd highly recommend Oil N' Go!!
I have used them for uncountable oil changes! The shelburne road location has never turned me away. They give good time estimates and know their prices before they charge you. They have been quick and efficient. Britney Ramsey has been friendly and understanding. I appreciate their hard work.
Came in early in the day and only had to wait just under 20 mins to be on my way again after the oil change. Decent price for their thorough work (topped off fluids, checked tire pressure, belts, etc without pressuring action on their recommendations). I really appreciate the picnic bench by the beautiful paper birch tree while I waited...it allowed me time to just be with Mother Nature for a few moments.
$154 for a basic tire change on my Honda.. When I called for a quote earlier this fall, I know it was not nearly that high. At the shop, they told me there’s a new “surcharge” to keep prices competitive — which sounds like a scam to me. Super disappointing. Won’t be going back.
Although I had agreed to the basic oil change service at 54.99 the bill had an extra 12.00 tacked on for “Premium Oil.” Whats the point of quoting a price and then adding surcharges? Also, as I was driving out I realized there was no sticker warning of next oil change. When I went back, they said they’re label machine was broken and tried to handwrite a sticker which is completely illegible. I won’t be back. While the owner replies that my car needed synthetic oil, which costs more, I was told just the opposite - that the service I was paying for included synthetic oil. So, there is clearly a disconnect here.
Did an oil change and didn't reattach the screws afterwards leading to over 100 dollars in damages. Mechanic said he sees this all the time from this sorry excuse for a mechanics shop. Attached video of sound the car was making a few days after Oil Change.
