Customer Reviews
Our car was shaking when traveling at high speeds. Rick’s was able to get us in quickly. They assessed the problem, fixed it and had us on our way in a matter of hours. Great customer service. Would highly recommend
Five stars for Rick's Auto Repair. I cannot recommend this shop enough. In today's world it is hard to find trustworthy people but Bill and his team are the real deal. They are straight forward, honest and never push extra repairs just to make more money. My family has been going here for many years and if your looking for quality work and done correctly, this is the place to go.
Absolutely, hands down, the best shop with the absolute best people. They're extremely reasonable, honest & trustworthy. This is the only shop my entire family will go to. I love how when I don't know something about my car, they will explain it to me. These guys are single-handedly keeping my 09' Ford Fusion (175k miles) alive & running like it's new. The owner, Billy, is amazing. He's extremely knowledgeable, helpful, transparent, talented & he's great with communication. I'm planning on moving an hour+ away soon & will continue to take that drive back, every time.
I've been taking my car here for years now and haven't looked back. If you want it done right the first time, this is the place. They've even helped me out with a loaner car on big jobs!
I made an appointment to have my car looked at because of a couple of noises I was hearing. He called and told me exactly what was wrong with my car: a tire rod, axle, tires, and a couple of other minor problems. I wasn’t surprised because I do a lot of driving. (Gig worker). I must say he was very honest and upfront with me about the cost and what was most important to get fixed. If you are a woman and not sure where to take your car, I highly recommend this place.
I was referred to Ricks by a close friend when I needed inspection and necessary repairs. Billy let me know what to expect and kept me informed about the status of the repairs and costs. I felt comfortable with the repairs that were completed and pleased with the communication and professionalism. I've since been back to have them check out a used car I bought, and plan to continue using Rick's moving forward.
I recommend Rick's Auto Repair to my parents because they needed their vehicle inspected. They are older and were worried about being taken advantage of. I assured them that Bill would not steer them wrong. They have an older vehicle that needed a few road worthy repairs. Bill throughly explained the importance of the repairs. They felt at ease dealing with him and knew his recommendations would keep them safe. Once they drove the vehicle, they raved about the difference in the feel and driving of the vehicle. They were impressed by his professionalism, and consideration throughout the process so much that they scheduled service for their other vehicle. If I lived closer, I would take all my vehicles to Bill because I trust him. The repairs are done right the first time, at a price you can trust.
My overall experience with Rick's was awesome! Very upfront about the issues / challenges to perform the work and they really look out for your pocket to make sure you're getting a quality job for a good price! Not too many left like this! They have a new customer for life - servicing all I my vehicles and my friends and family!
Shout Out to Bill and his crew. My simple review is "These Guys Will Fix Your Car!!!" Now I could go into the entire story as to why I brought my car in but you don't need that to know that. What you need to know is my issue was diagnosed, I was consulted on the repair and then IT WAS FIXED!!! If you have an auto problem or if you just need an oil change take take your car to Rick's. "These Guys Will Fix Your Car!!!"
TLDR: Terrible customer service, shady place, owner will threaten you, expensive, etc. Took my car in for a issue with battery about a year ago or so and they “fixed the issue” then a year later it started up again and I took the car to be tested at autozone. Battery came back bad, so I called the place up and asked if the battery had warranty and if they could change it for free if that’s what it was. They said yes but they had to run their own tests, I told the owner that I couldn’t afford to pay anything so if it came back with ANYTHING wrong to not do anything to the car and just leave it as is. He agreed. Fast forward to next day, the owner calls me tells me the car is ready for pickup, I go to pick it up and he says they had to fix the positive terminal as well as some other random things he didn’t go into detail about. And then said it’d be basically $200, I confronted him about it and asked why they did any fixes to the vehicle when we had agreed not to do that as I had no money to pay. He said he did me a favor, and that he’d be willing to let me pay later on, then proceeded to state “but if you don’t pay me when you say you will we are going to have problems, I can turn your car into a tin can”. Long story short, do not go here, the customer service is terrible and the owner will threaten you to pay him for a service you didn’t even agree to.
