I had tried to contact many other local transmission repair establishments to have work done on my customized '93 Jeep Wrangler with a '94 bell housing and Justin and his team at AAMCO Aloha were the first to pick up their phone and get us taken care of right away. Their customer service was top notch. Justin even had his son help by welding a mounting bracket that was broken and hard to find. I don't think I've ever had the transmission working so well in time I've owned it. I really appreciate the work they did. I highly recommend this place for your repair needs.

Had a very difficult time with the trans in my truck finding the right part. They were able to round up the last parts I needed to connect the cooler lines to the tranny and adjusted the Trans shifter . Very good work, I will use them and recommend them again .

Justin the service manager has always been super helpful. They will take care of any issues you’re having and won’t try to repair things that don’t need it. Their turn around time is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Quality workmanship and top notch customer service.

My experience with Aamco at this location was excellent. Justin was easy to talk to, and made me feel secure in bringing my car to him. I ultimately decided that my old car would not warrant getting the work done, and he was so gracious in his understanding of that. I would recommend his shop to anyone with no hesitation.

Alright I am going to start with 5 starts review but my review will keep updated in 2 years. I got my transmission fixed on my Chevy exprese 2500. Justin honored me with 24k or 2 years warranty on it and the job was done quickly. Right now it drives no problem. I will keep updated this review in 2 years.

I usually stay away from corporate businesses and try to use local shops. With AAMCO transmissions though you get the best of both worlds because most of the shops are locally owned and operated but you also get the security of a nation wide chain and warranty. Sometimes this works while other times it doesn't. Justin was very reliable about calling with information and when it came time for a warranty operation like mine, the owner , Jeff was also involved and gave me a courtesy call to keep me informed of the progress. All in all dealing with AAMCO in Aloha was handled in a very professional manner and the rebuild is working better than the original .

We had our transmission rebuilt at another shop, but it failed within 400 miles. Of course, it was a Sunday, so I had no choice but to have our 35-foot motorhome towed to AAMCO in Aloha as it was the closest. While this shop couldn't handle our vehicle's size, AAMCO Milwaukie did, and Aloha rebuilt it successfully the second time under warranty. After over 400 miles of mountainous travel, the transmission performs perfectly. The shop manager was thoughtful and informative, and Jeff and his techs went above and beyond to get the transmission rebuilt in a timely manner. We are back on the road, traveling without transmission worries. Thanks, guys!

As a woman, you hear horror stories about unscrupulous mechanics taking advantage of female customers and overcharging or talking down. I'm so happy to say this shop is not like that. Justin was WONDERFUL, and he explained everything, clearly. I was charged a fair price, and the work was outstanding. I will definitely be recommending this shop to everyone, because they have great service and integrity.
