Clackamas DEQ Test Station

Faster than any other den that I've waited in the line at! I have 7 cars in front of me and was done in 15 minutes. Super nice workers!

The total combined time was surprisingly brief. I was there for roghly 30min from start to finish: This includes ☆joining the queue ☆arriving at the first kiosk where they ask brief questions. •is your registration current or not? •If not, they let you know that DMV is your next step. ☆proceed to 2nd queue to wait for an available checkpoint ☆upon reaching the checkpoint, you are advised to step to side while they check the DEQ test ☆the actual test only requires 3-5 minutes ☆pay the fee, receive ppwk and away you go. The staff members that I spoke to were all courteous and informative. I was amazed at how quick and smooth everything went. I never even had a chance to open the book I brought to read during the numerous/lengthy waits I had anticipated 🙄

Get here early around 750am and you will be out of there quickly

Super fast and simple. I’ve now visited this location twice and each time was quick, painless, and I was met with friendly service. First time I went during the day in the middle of the week and there were four bays with only a few cars so I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I went again today (Tuesday) at 9am and there were four bays open, line around the building and this time only took 20 minutes.

As painless at is can be for a DEQ visit. The technician was funny and personable. I was there for 20 minutes. The tabs fees are outrageous, but that has everything to do with the State.

This site has a driveway approach that is a steep right hand turn, but there is a bypass for RVs. there are a lot of marks in the pavement that seems to indicate clearance issues for a lot of vehicles. I was 100th in line 10 minutes before it opened on a Tuesday, both people I interacted with were very nice. Decent view of Mt Hood from most service bays

Easiest experience ever to renew our registration. Waited less than 6 minutes total with 2 cars ahead of me on a Friday morning. Friendly quick service.

As workers for the State all of them I interacted with were amazing! Friendly, funny and factual about all my questions! The entire process (even with a LONG line in my car waiting to get in) took less then 20 minutes!!! Thank you DEQ for hiring amazing people!!!

Awesome crew was helpful and nice. Faster than any other drive thru. In the time it took to write this review, I moved up to the shady part and its like being at the car wash with no water or brushes or blowers. OK its nothing like a car wash but Im in a line and the music in my car is loud and it makes all this fun. (6 minutes later) 225,000 miles and I passed. When I drove away with a passing certificate after that many miles, it felt like I won the lottery. :)

With 3 bays open, it took 45 minutes of waiting in line. The sign says "$25", but it doesn't say the DMV fee is nearly $200. Of course, it's always boring to wait in line, but what can you do? Granted, we went on a Saturday afternoon. A necessary torture. The technician was not exactly friendly but also not rude. He was probably trying to move things along as quickly as possible.
