Called early morning from out of state to inquire about an inspection on a used car purchase. Left a message and received a call back within the hour from a very friendly voice. They were unable to meet my same day needs (which is understandable) but I greatly appreciated the call back.

Every one here is awsome! Brought my nissan juke in on short notice, for a control arm that rusted out. They were very busy, took my car right in, excellent communication and upfront with how long everything would take. Fair prices and excellent work! Thank you again !!!

They do outstanding work and I would recommend anyone give them a try!” Thank you again Cheryl and Andy.

Boy, did we stop at the right place! My wife and I were on a 600 mile road trip from Bar Harbor, Maine to Scranton, PA when the splash guard under the engine started to fall off. The staff at George’s was happy to secure it quickly for us so we could be on our way. The last thing you want is car trouble when you’re hundreds of miles from home. We are so lucky, grateful, and will be sure to pay it forward. Thank you!

My daughter is attending college in the area and she was told by the oil change place that there was a major oil leak. I looked online and found George's. Called them and we got the car there. The issue was communicated to me by Cheryl and they had it fixed in a day. Cheryl was great to work with! Looks like we have a good shop for my daughter to take her car to if it has an issue again. Super happy!

Disappointed by Their Attitude and Lack of Transparency I initially had a decent experience here when they fixed a flat for me, and I was open to building a good relationship with this shop. I even passed on a repair shop right next to my home to go here when I got an error code in my inspection report—hoping for professionalism and fair service. When I brought in the report, I was told by Charlotte that diagnostics would start at $100 but it could be more since there were multiple codes. She couldn’t tell me how much exactly or whether the diagnostic fee would be waived if we did the service with them. It was vague and unclear—especially when other places were upfront: Chevy dealership quoted $190 and the shop next door $95. Even then, I was willing to consider them—but was told the mechanic was too busy and to come back in two days. After discussing with my partner, we decided to use our car’s inbuilt remote diagnostics to pinpoint the issue and just get the service done. I left them a voicemail saying we now know the code and asked if they’d still charge the diagnostic fee if we just get the repair done. What happened next was shocking: I got a call back telling me it was insulting that I bypassed their diagnostics and that they were no longer interested in servicing our car at all. Honestly, that kind of prideful, dismissive attitude is when a business starts to go downhill. I wanted to support a local business and give them my trust—but their lack of clarity, empathy, and customer respect makes it hard to recommend them. A little humility and care go a long way.
