About Hermann's International Auto Service

Hermann's International (Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle) diagnoses the notorious-issue vehicles other mechanics shrug at, and explains parts and service without intimidation for the repair-illiterate.

Two serious failures: a parts-ordering invoice allegedly built to scam, and a month-long multi-leak oil repair that leaked again ten minutes down the road. The diagnostic reputation doesn't extend to the repair execution lately. Washington repair. Rated 4.0 across 33 reviews.

Having had bad luck in my search for a good car mechanic, I gave Hermann's a shot. Despite my vehicles notorious issues, they were able to diagnose and pinpoint the cause of my high idle problem, and I was sent on my way without being hassled to buy parts or other services. It's hard to come across a shop that doesn't swindle you for something, so Hermann's has definitely earned my trust in terms of reliability, efficiency, and quality of labor. I will be returning for all my basic maintenance and servicing of my vehicle.

As a man who knows virtually nothing about car repair I often find it VERY intimidating when trying to price parts and service for my vehicles. After speaking with a couple of friends about options I heard Hermann's come up more than once so I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. The pricing was great, service was performed timely, and they were extremely flexible with scheduling. I do not hesitate to rate them a 5/5 as they really went the extra effort to make this as painless of a process as possible. If you want your car in the best of car and want a great deal do not hesitate to call Hermann's International Auto Service.

Hermann's International Auto Service at 6800 Roosevelt Way NE in Seattle (between 68th St & 69th St) has some of the best customer service out there in terms of auto care services. I had heard that the staff at Hermann’s International Auto Service was skilled but I was unprepared for how nice everyone was. These fine folks specialize in German, European and Japanese vehicles which make them invaluable to anyone who owns a foreign car. My parents were visiting recently and their car started giving then problems. We stopped into Hermann’s on the recommendation of a friend who is also a mechanic but doesn’t work on foreign cars. My parents needed to make sure that the repairs would get them back to California and they did and then some. My dad reports that they have had no problems since. I would recommend using this car service.

DONT GO HERE....DO NOT ORDER PARTS FROM HERE YOU WILL GET SCAMMED......theres a mechanic, Bijoux, who will write you up an invoice to make it look legit.....then scams you by not sending your parts or money back....he states you need to send more money so he can refund you back!!! SKETCHY BUSINESS GOING ON HERE! I ordered a few parts off a parts car. After I sent him money, he said sorry I need more because they require insurance to ship. I said na im good send me back my money. He for some odd reason made me wait 5 days til his "payday". his "payday" comes and now tells me to wait til Friday.....what kind of people run this business....

Took my car in for multiple oil leaks. Took them over a month to "fix" the leaks. Picked my car up and 10min down the road the car started leaking oil all over the ground. Took my car straight back to them instantly. My car is still there and has been for almost 2 months. (3 months including the initial repair). They refuse to contact me. I'm always the one to call them asking for updates and I have to call 3-4 times in a row to get an answer. Their voicemail box is full. I've already paid them over $1700. Thinking about pressing legal action. I just want my car back and fixed as I paid for. If anyone can help me. I'd appreciate it. Hermanns, do the right thing. I just want my car fixed.
