Brought a new-to-us used vehicle in for some warning lights. Not knowing what we were in store for in terms of repairs, we were a bit apprehensive to take both a vehicle we didn't know to a place we had no history. Great staff assured us that they would assess and call us with estimated before any work was done. Thankfully, a fairly simple issue was to blame and for a reasonable price the car was in an out in a day. Thanks for being honest and communicative through the process.

Great success! I bring my automobile to this mechanic shop because it make strange noise like goat trapped in washing machine. The mechanics look under hood, do many smart things with tools, and now car run like champion horse of Kazakhstan. Very nice! They fix problem fast, charge fair price, and not try to sell me unnecessary wheel for donkey. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If you need car repair, this place is number one exporter of quality service in all the region. Kazakhstan is the greatest country in the world, and this mechanic shop is the greatest mechanic shop in Portland area!. Highly recommend. Jagshemash!

Can’t say enough good things.. I parted ways from my mechanic of 15 years for various reasons and have been searching for a new mechanic. I trusted their solid reviews and Meineke was able to get me in very fast for an exhaust issue. I had my car back in 2 hours after dropping it off! The price was fair, the customer service was awesome and I’ll be going here from now on. Highly recommend!

I believe this is my second or third time bringing my car to Meineke in Portland, ME, and I continue to be impressed with the service. George at the front desk is an excellent communicator and takes the time to clearly explain repairs in a way that’s easy to understand. I especially appreciate that they save and show the parts that were replaced—it really helps build trust and transparency. I also really appreciate that when they fix things - the things stay fixed because they’re done right the first time! I drive up from Biddeford, and they’re always proactive about confirming parts are in stock so I’m not left waiting unnecessarily. I used to feel a lot of anxiety about going to the mechanic due to a past experience where I was left without my car for nearly two months. Since coming here, that stress has completely gone away.

I cannot recommend this auto shop enough. They were able to get me in for a brake job within a day, which was already impressive. But what really stood out was their honesty and integrity. I went in fully prepared to pay for new brakes, especially with an upcoming trip, and after inspecting my car and listening to my concerns, they told me my brakes were actually in great shape and that I didn’t need anything done. I was delighted of course but most of all so appreciative of their honesty. They could have easily sold me a service I didn’t need. They’ve earned my trust and will have all of my business going forward.

Meineke on Forest Ave in Portland is the best place to bring your car. They have provided me consistent, reliable and trustworthy service for 15 years! They are always courteous and have never let me down. Now they take care of my daughter’s vehicle and I can have peace of mind that she is in good hands.

It was nice to set the appointment online and the team gave me recommendations based on the immediate concerns. Oil change and complete brake system repaired and upgraded, plus inspections. Great customer service and 0% same as cash for six months. Thank you George.

George was amazing! He really helped my daughter out who is going to college up there. I have a normal guy I go to about an hour and a half away but George gave me the price and service I wanted!! The team at Meineke Forest Ave are excellent. The front office is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The mechanics are on point. I’ve had them work on my car a few times. From replacing a brake line to oil changes, they are flexible and fair. Highly recommend them!
