Always a pleasure to come to Midas here on Forest Avenue. I’m here multiple times for issues With my vehicle and they have fixed it every time with Amazing service and top quality customer care! I will be coming here every time for anything wrong with my car.

I am an out of state college student and needed an inspection to submit with my exemption form to my home state. They got me in very quickly on my day off from school, worked with me to make sure I got what I needed, and refused to charge me since it wasn’t a full inspection! I was shocked! Absolutely wonderful customer service from start to finish and I will definitely be back for any of my car service needs! Thank you all!

PRO SERVICE at a great price. The Midas team is courteous, skillful, and intelligent. They quickly diagnosed the issues with my Chevy Silverado, made the necessary repairs, and had me back on the road quickly. At my request, they also applied a fantastic undercoating and even gave me a discount. These are my new favorite Portland mechanics!

I had an amazing experience at Midas during my recent state inspection. From the moment I walked in, Sam at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and efficient. He got me checked in right away and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Cody, the mechanic who worked on my car, was just as impressive. He took care of everything quickly and professionally, and I really appreciated the quality of service. This was my first time coming here, and I was honestly beyond impressed with how well I was treated and how fast everything was handled. Great customer service like this is hard to find. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this location to anyone!

My family has experienced a number of challenges with one of our cars, starting a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon. Knowing my options were limited on a weekend day but having heard great things about Midas (on 570 Forrest Ave), I called them and spoke with Josh, one of the managers, who could not have been more kind and accommodating. Upon arrival at Midas, I met both Josh and Sam who were professional, kind and responsive to my concerns about the car and need for a timely turnaround. Over the next several days, Sam's communication was excellent. He shared a video of the problem with me and my husband and clearly explained what the next steps would be to properly fix it. His mechanic colleague, Dave promptly repaired the initial issue. An unrelated issue developed a couple of days later so when I called and spoke to another manger, Noah, he was calm and offered to have the car reevaluated immediately. I received updates throughout the day about the status of the car and the estimate of the labor and parts was discussed and confirmed with me before any work was done. The team at Midas is knowledgeable, experienced, fair, professional and clear communicators. Plus, they offer an Uber service if you need a ride to and from their business. My husband I were very happy with the service we received and we highly recommend them!

I just want to call out the manager Sam for something he did today. I won’t get into the specifics, but it was something that he absolutely did not have to do but he did anyway. The kind of behavior he exhibited…you just do not see it on a daily basis. It was an act of kindness that while he didn’t see as a big deal… It meant a great deal to me. So much so that anything related to my car I will be returning to this exact location, simply based on what occurred today… It had that large enough impact on me. This is what businesses fail to do so often. They forget to bring the human element into the customer experience. They forget that small favors and acts of goodwill go a long way with the customer. I never write reviews on Google, but I felt I had to after today, it was the least I could do. This is a honest and good group of people. Sam is an awesome dude and like I said I will be a customer at this location forever… done deal. Before today I was unsure of where I was going to get my next bulb installed for a headlight that went out… Well, I know where I’m going now! To Businesses: It’s not that hard… be a decent human with kindness, and that blows the consumers mind. It does so because we never see it in our interactions with other businesses while purchasing things in our daily life…. Like we literally never see it. You take one kind action that maybe at the time cost you in terms of time/labor costs you $50-100 button… this is actually a great investment because what you get is a loyal customer who will be there for life and go out of his way to write a Google review because it made his day and blew his mind 🥳😂 p.s. Give Sam a raise!

Highly recommend. I found a screw in one of my tires and they were able to get my car in right away. Fast and friendly crew.

Great service, the whole team was very polite. I needed a tire plugged and even offered a service I wasn't expecting which was to have it put back on the vehicle. I had planned to do it myself when I got back home. Definitely saved me hard labor time doing it myself. I would bring my vehicle back for service anytime!

Formerly known as Maine Auto, this Midas location was quick, efficient, and helpful. Arnold made space for me the same day, which was relieving to me. Had me out of there in no time.

I walked into Maine Auto without an appointment, reporting a tire that had been punctured by impact with a curb. Arnold, the shop manager, took me immediately. He was able to get me back on the road within a day, and without selling me anything beyond the exact tire and alignment that I needed. His communication was utterly clear, helpful, and realistic from start to finish. I was charged substantially less than I could have been. I received complete and satisfying service. This is at least the third time I have gone to Maine Auto with a spontaneous problem that could easily have made me very vulnerable. Each time, I drove away feeling fully taken care of and respected. This time, after I received the tire quote, I called up my sister (new to the neighborhood) and recommended that she start bringing her business to this Forest Ave establishment. They strike me as the last of a dying breed.
