This place is a good place. The techs and shop managers are nice and have an great attention for detail. I brought my car in for inspection and axle repair and they took care of me and my car in no time, plus they saved me some money. Just be sure you drive down Pennypack until you see their sign. Maps might route you to the auto repair places that are closer to the main street.

Wish I could give more stars. I drove 13 hours from Chicago to Philadelphia to purchase a used vehicle that was represented as an older vehicle with only 45,000 original miles. The seller had purchased it at auction and said it had only one prior owner. The Carfax report showed no accidents and routine service history, so it appeared to be a good value. Before completing the purchase, I arranged for a pre-purchase inspection with Mitch’s Auto Service Center. That decision saved me from making a very expensive mistake. Mitch and his team put the vehicle on a lift and quickly determined that it had extensive rust underneath. Mitch described it bluntly but accurately as a “rust bucket.” The seller had replaced some brake and fuel lines and had sprayed the entire undercarriage with a heavy black coating that appeared to be intended to hide the rust. When Mitch raised the issue, the seller tried to claim it was just normal undercoating. Mitch’s honesty and willingness to call things exactly as he saw them saved me from buying a major problem. I drove all the way from Chicago, and his inspection gave me the confidence to walk away from a bad deal. Mitch’s Auto Service Center clearly operates with a high level of integrity. If I lived in the area, this would absolutely be the only place I would take my vehicles. Highly recommended.

Mitch’s Auto Service is hands down the best in Philadelphia! I came in for a repair, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right the first time. Mitch and his team are honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about their customers. No surprise charges, fast service, and excellent communication throughout. Dropped my car off over the weekend after hours. I stopped in monday morning and mitch already had it on the lift and was working on it. He was very fast doing the repairs and honest on the price. I would definitely bring my cars back for future repairs.

My mom's alternator died and her regular mechanic was closed for vacation. I called Mitch's and he said to bring it over and he would have it fixed the next day. The AAA driver dropped it off and put the keys in the drop box. Around 9:30 the next morning I got a call that it was all fixed. I was very impressed. Fair price and very quick! I'd definitely go back!

I have to thank (Mitchs's Auto Service) for taking such good care of my vehicle. I recommend them to anyone. Mitch, is one good guy that cares about your vehicles needs. This auto repair shop is AAA+++ you won't be disappointed with there service. I been to four other repair shop in the Northeast, all were dishonest! Mitch's Auto, is not one of them. Trust your vehicle with them they'll take care of its needs.
