Came in for an oil change and inspection and was super happy to see familiar faces at this location. Moved twice in the last few years, out of Raleigh and ultimately into Durham, and was surprised and super happy to see Jerry running this location. Jerry and the folks here are great, super timely and respectful, I never get sold a bunch of nonsense I don't need, and the price is always right. Definitely my go-to now!

I recently moved to the area with my two cars from another state. Every-time I have moved, I prioritize to find a good, honest, customer oriented, friendly, and reliable auto mechanic service, and rarely, very rarely have found a place that qualifies in all these categories. I was fortunate that a satisfied customer referred this excellent service to me. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a lifetime place to take your car for any issues. David made me feel like a friend more than a customer, and Malcom, the tech, like a family member needing help, than a stranger. You won’t regret it, promise.

I had a great experience here. I came in for an oil change and not only was the service quick and efficient, but they also went the extra mile and did a complimentary tire rotation, which I really appreciated. Jerry Poe and the whole staff were professional, honest, and didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need — that alone goes a long way. It’s hard to find places you can trust with your car, but this is definitely one of them. Because of how well I was treated, they’ve earned my business when it’s time for a new set of tires. Highly recommend if you’re looking for reliable, straightforward service.

Very lovely people! Second time coming to their shop, and they are nothing but kind and generous with me. My under carriage was peeling off and they immediately got it in and ripped it off for me. They’re amazing, especially J. Poe, who today did my car for free because of his generosity! I’m rooting for yall for the competition! Good luck! I Drive a VW and was quoted over 300$ for an oilchange and tire rotation by the dealership!!! I went across the street to precision and was able to get an oil change for 60$+ plus they broke down to me how my car is doing ! didnt try to upcharge me on anything and I was in and out in 30 minutes! Very nice crew and explained everything to me. Highly recommend if you want fast and affordable service lovally. Times is hard for alot of people so its good to know you can go somewhere and get Good and fast service without being hit on the head with a crazy price.

The prices are unbeatable—trust me, I like to call around for estimates before I go anywhere, and no one beats their prices or service. The shop is always clean, including the waiting area and bathroom, which says a lot about how they run their business. Jerry Poe, the manager, deserves a special mention—he’s always been straightforward, honest, and truly looks out for his customers. I highly recommend Precision Tune Auto Care because both Jerry Poe and Brandon Lee provided excellent service. I was greeted with a smile, informed throughout the day of updates on my vehicle and was informed of what needed to be done w/ an affordable estimate. Don’t go to jiffy lube like I did - they’ll rip you off and are sooo overpriced!!! Come here and they will get your right, respectfully, professionally and in a timely manner! By far one of theeeee best car shops in Durham. I’m truly thankful for not only the precision but the kindness they show each customer just because. I have recently been there twice in the last month for car repairs done incorrectly by other companies and they not only showed me grace but completed each repair timely and most importantly affordable l. This will be my new car repair shop. Thanks guys for making sure it’s only only your job but a passion.

I had the worst experience ever at this Precision Tune. I was driving and suddenly my light came on indicating low air. I pulled into the first place I saw in quite a panic. I was told that they could not put air in my tire unless I went inside to register. While I understand the concept of “waiting my turn,” two of the mechanics were standing around and not working on any cars. To make matters worse, once I went inside I could not find anyone to register me as directed. I finally gave up and drove another 0.5 miles where I saw a Discount Tire who put the air in and sent me on my way in less than 5 minutes. I have never felt more disregarded than I felt with the lack of care or concern I encountered at Precision Tune Auto Care. Sometimes people can show you far better than they can tell you that you don’t matter.

Had my car towed to shop on 8/17/25 for estimate and diagnostic. It took 9 days to get a response. On top of that,my 00 speaker was stolen from the trunk. You can only open trunk with a key. I am sooo upset rn. They say I need to make a police report. I am! And calling better business bureau! 😡😡😡
