Speedy Auto Service

My entire experience today at Speedy’s was incredible. I was in Norfolk and worried about my low transmission fluid causing some heating issues while my husband was at work. Jim took me in straightaway, was incredibly kind, sweet and funny, and added fluid that I had brought with no charge. The technician was also amazing, gave me no gruff, and didn’t try to upsell or make me feel dumb because I was a woman. I tipped him for his time. Truly one of the best mechanic experiences I have ever had. We will absolutely be back.

Speedy Norfolk is awesome. Left my car for oil change & tire rotation. Picked up car, invoice didn't have tire rotation. They forgot tire rotation. Jim at desk apologized, but had tech complete tire rotation right away, was ready to pay for that service. Jim said no charge. Thanks so much Speedy!

I cannot say enough positive things about Speedy Auto in Norfolk. Not only are the manager, Jim, and his staff extremely kind and helpful, they’re efficient. I know very little about how to service my own vehicle, let alone cars in general, and they know. Instead of taking advantage of my unawareness, they take opportunities to educate me and provide genuine reassurance to keep my expectations aligned with theirs. the reason this stands out to me is because, on occasion, other auto shops have communicated services I needed, and when I took my vehicle to speedy auto, they disagreed. Their judgement and transparency has never cost me, if anything it saved me. Saved me time, money, and unnecessary stress. I’m a business owner myself, so this type of CONSISTENT service is priceless. So if you only have time for a professional opinion with reasonable explanations, then I highly recommend taking your vehicles here!

Best Service I’ve ever had, no matter what state I was in. They always do a complete inspection to make sure the ACTUAL problem is being addressed, then do it correctly. I used to tell them what the problem was but stopped after they told me the problem was actually something different, a couple of times. Have never had to go back and have something done a second time. I wholeheartedly recommend them. You can be sure the problem is fixed, and fixed tight!

To qualify this review, I have not had my car serviced here, rather I had an interaction with an employee named Aaron while in a parts store nearby and I thought his efforts should be commended publicly. He was holding a bolt from a customers vehicle that was ever so slightly bent. He could have simply reinstalled the bent bolt with an impact gun but because Aaron is an honest and caring person he is instead agonizingly searching for this part too do the right thing for his customer when his shop is closing soon. This level of integrity is rare these days!

I came to here after getting turned away at another shop, Jim squeezed me in to get my tires in. Jim was so polite and very welcoming. My friend and I were in the waiting area for about three hours since we didn’t have a ride. We chit chatted and it had the time go super fast. Since I was there for a while I noticed how welcoming and up beat he was to ever since customer that walked in. Highly recommend!

Jim and Aaron are the best! Friendly , speedy and great to chat with! Will be bringing them my car from now on :)

The absolute best in Hampton roads, we will never go anywhere else ever again unless we have to! Honest, fast service with fair prices. They really take care of us every time we have something wrong with our cars, and I truly believe our 11 year old car is still in such great condition because is them!

Had to get my water pump replaced most places refused to work on my type of car. Jim was very helpful and told me everything that needed to be done upfront. Was done in time frame given car runs perfect now. Will be going here for all my car needs going forward. Highly recommend!!!

AMAZING customer service. Finished fixing my car within a flexible time ratio and at a fair price. Definitely coming back to this place if i need my car fixed again!
