Got my license here đ so grateful!! There customer service at this location should host how to treat people when you go to DMV. (Talking about other DMV location)
Everyone was friendly, the wait time was very short, and they were very efficient with the entire process. It was definitely not the stereotypical DMV experience.
Wonderful and friendly staff of the dmv office. Today I passed my driving test for the second time. Instructor Madison is a very friendly person. I want to thank you again for the moral support and desire to make the process less stressful. Just day and night compared to the first instructor...
My daughter just took her license test and failed. He failed the kid before her also! Guess she wasn't close enough to the curb or something?? The girl drives everyday and for her behind the wheel her instructor passed her with flying colors. The girl nest to my daughter said he failed her the week prior and she came back today and passed! Now we have to pay 20.00 to retake the test she should have passed
My instructor was 15 mintues late, smelled like smoke, wore sunglasess on a rainy day, was rude, unprofessionally dressed, failed me in nine minutes for going 22 in a 30 got out of my car and immediately got in the 12:30 apointment's car. Shame on you.
Very rude and lack of integrity. They automatically failed my son for equipment fail and didnât even allow him to pull off. The instructor marked items as wrong even though my son knew where they were located and knew how to operate. I sat there and watched the whole 3 minutes they were in the car before the instructor got out the car and walked off without saying a word to anyone. My son said when he got in the car he didnât greet my son or introduce himself. He was just saying one word like â emergency brake, blinkers, windshield wipers ââŠâŠ. I seen him operate all of it with no problem. He definitely knew where everything was and how to operate
The man who did my exam was phenomenal! However, the supervisor who was present April 30, 2026, as well as the front desk staff were absolutely horrible. They wouldnât take any of my forms to purchase my CDL and they put a hold on my CDL so that I couldnât get it any other place without purchasing a new birth certificate. The power trip of these two individuals, made it so I couldnât start my route when I have a household to take care of. No matter how miserable I have been at certain times of my life, I would never mess with anyoneâs livelihood, their means to take care of their children. And thatâs exactly what they have done. Itâs May 2nd now and I still have no CDL and no route thanks to these miserable individuals. Thanksđ
So despite getting everything right and done correctly and safely. "If you had known that you would have passed today" is what the instructor told me. And that is I had to turn left from a 2 lane to another 2 lane road, So I was in the lane that shows that you can turn left and turned to the far left lane which is the correct lane to turn to from where I was then he stopped me and said I should have switched to the close lane and went in the closest lane. both lines show that you can turn left so I failed because he would have preferred I switch lane first nothing critical as I am not a child and I have been driving since 2011 and never had a single accident. Even though I moved in to the states couple months ago and rules are slightly different but still I think if someone fails this exam it's whether the examiner is having a bad day or they are showing the DMV that they are working hard to make more people pay to do the retest.
DONT GO HERE!!!!! Driving instructor gave little instruction on where to go, lanes were not marked, instructor had attitude and did not clarify directions when asked. When I asked for clarification on where to turn he was silent. Everyone told me not to go here, I shouldâve listened. Donât be like me, go somewhere else where youâll actually have a chance on passing.
The staff at the Arden Hills DMV are rude, unprofessional, and clearly miserable. During my driving test, I nervously laughed while double checking that my headlights were correct, expecting a quick âyesâ for some reassurance. Instead, I got a passive aggressive comment as if I was wasting their time. I wasnât causing a problemâjust trying to make sure everything was right. Then, during the parking portion of the test, I finished and looked up at the instructor, waiting for their next instruction. Instead of guiding me, they snapped, âAre you done?â in an aggressive tone. I wasnât stallingâI was just trying to be respectful and follow their lead. Theyâre impatient, cold, and make you feel like a burden for doing exactly what youâre supposed to. For first-timers especially, this place is a horrible experience. Thereâs no excuse for public-facing employees to behave like this. Do better. DO NOT GO FOR DRIVER'S TEST!!!
