GVT Tire has worked on all 3 of my cars in the last 3 months and they are TERRIFIC, with a shout out to Joe my service manager. They priced everything right and were always on time - thank you again GVT!
Couldn't have been a smoother experience. Everything was clear and transparent. Check in super easy, report back to me was fantastic, communication was great, paying and grabbing car was a breeze. I believe I was working with Mike and he was fantastic.
Great personal service. Diagnosed the issue quickly along with a full inspection of the vehicle. Explained all the important issues and I had them taken taken care of. Done quickly at a fair price. Overall great service
My 19 year old car was shot to H underneath, lot of rusting going on, needed all new brake parts for both front and rear, needed new tie rods on one of the front wheels. The front desk guys were real nice, professional, and seemed trustworthy. Had everything done within 24 hours. Would recommend them to others.
We recently moved to the area and were looking for a trustworthy auto shop we could rely on long-term—and we’re so glad we found GVT Tire & Auto in Corcoran! From the moment we walked in, the team was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Their customer service is top-notch, and you can really tell they care about the details. They took the time to clearly explain everything and provided a transparent, easy-to-understand breakdown of pricing once the issue was identified, which we really appreciated. No surprises—just fair, honest pricing and great work. It’s such a relief to find a business you can trust, especially after moving somewhere new. We’ll definitely be coming back for future car needs. Highly recommend!
GVT is the best auto place! Always dependable and do thorough and reliable work. My vehicle is well cared for there, thank you Mike!, and the employees communicate well, are polite and respectful--very much appreciated! I wish they were closer to my home, but definitely worth the drive.
We recently moved to Corcoran and needed some maintenance done. GVT was very thorough in explaining and educating us on our vehicle’s needs. They also outlined upcoming services and were both professional and personable throughout the process. Thanks!
I am new to this area and had no idea where to go to get my car serviced. After my son told me to go to GVT TIRE AND AUTO SERVICE, I did as he said. The person who made my appointment for me was Tom. He was very nice, no pressure, and I truly felt he cared about me.Tom took care of me and my car from the moment I walked in. My car had a a comprehensive checkup, they emailed me about services I might want, I gave the go ahead and picked up my car the following morning,. I am very satisfied with the workmanship and the price I paid.. GVT Tire and Auto will definitely get all my business. Thank you Tom and staff! Jane Powers
Couldn't give a higher recommendation than what I'd give GVT auto! I was in town to see family and fly out of MSP. When I got back to my car after my travels, I had some brake issues that had worsened as the car sat. I got the car back to where I was staying, called first thing in the morning, and was met with two very kind statements from the owner: "I don't have much room, but if you can leave it with us we will be sure to look at it today." followed by, "I promise you the car will be ready today. Even if I have to stay late myself." He certainly did not have to take on another vehicle on a shorthanded day, but he understood that I was wanting to get back home to Wisconsin the same day, and he was sure to make it happen. Everyone was super kind to work with, provided clarity about the issues they found, and sent me home with some things I may want to get done on my car when I got back home. I recommended them to my family in the area and do the same for anyone reading this!
Nice people. Brought my 2001 Buick LeSabre in. We all knew it's 25 years old and worth about $1k. They kept trying to sell me on stuff. I was an auto tech back in the day and worked on many 3.8L engines. They charged me $317 for an idler pulley asm which I could not find anywhere at Napa, other parts stores, Amazon, etc. for more than $120. That was the most money. Then they charged me $123 for the serpentine belt. Again, found anywhere from $20-$100 but not $123. I'm fine with places making money on parts, but what I got charged for parts was over the top. I won't go there again. I had 3 things done: Parts: (belt and pulley assembly) $502. Labor $380. Never going back.
