I can't say enough great things about this auto repair shop. My 18 year old son wanted some work done on his car and from the moment he walked in, they treated him with genuine respect, honesty, and professionalism. As a parent, it's reassuring to know there are still businesses that take the time to explain things clearly and treat young customers fairly instead of taking advantage of them. The service was outstanding from start to finish. They were knowledgeable, communicated throughout the repair process, completed the work in a timely manner, and the quality of their work was excellent. It's obvious they take pride in both their craftsmanship and the way they treat their customers. If you're looking for an honest, dependable shop with exceptional customer service, I highly recommend them. They've earned our trust, and we'll definitely be back for any future automotive needs. Whether its an inspection, oil change, or repairs, the crew at Economy is amazing! Johnny is such an asset. The owners are so lucky to have him. He cares about his customers and gives everyone excellent service with great communication. They were recommended to us about 6yrs ago and my husband and I have been coming to them ever since.

I mostly come here for my state inspection. When I went they informed me my cat. converter was cracked and they hooked me up with the GMC dealer up the road to get my car in same day and that it would be under a warranty. They saved me thousands of dollars and I am beyond thankful. I would give Economy Auto 100 stars out of 10 if it was possible.

Without question, this should be your choice for auto care in the Hanover/Ashland/Mechanicsville area. Their work is excellent and fast, but their service is what sets Economy Auto apart. First, their communication is excellent. Throughout the process of your car getting worked on, there is constant communication and nothing is done without your approval. Economy Auto also does a very good job of explaining your options in a way that is easy to understand. Second, the overall service is outstanding. I have been in a situation where, at no fault of Economy Auto, a defective part was used in a repair on my car. Not only did Economy Auto fix this at no extra cost to me, they also scheduled and paid for a tow truck to get my car to their garage so that they could get it fixed as quickly as possible. Finally, their pricing is fair and transparent. Whenever possible, they pass on their savings to their customers. It's never fun to pay for auto repairs, but at Economy Auto I am always confident that I am getting the best deal possible. I will not take my car to any other auto shop, and I would strongly recommend to everyone else that they should also go to Economy Auto.

It was a complicated setup with a CPU and a crossbar under the hood, and after visiting multiple places without luck, a kind gentleman at Advanced Auto pointed me in your direction. I’m so grateful he did. Economy Auto Care handled the challenge with skill and care, and their willingness to step in during a tough situation speaks volumes. Always reliable I’ve been going to Economy for a few years now. I know NOTHING about cars. I can always trust that they “have my back” and check everything before I walk out the door…. Never overcharging and never suggesting services I don’t need…. Always giving me a heads up if something big is coming up… just perfect!

This was our second time using economy auto. They were amazing with my husband's muffler, so I brought my car in because they advertised in the office that they restored headlights. When I paid the $110, I was not shown the headlights, but was told that they only were able to get some of it clean, but that the inside was hazy and that's why it isn't clear. When I went out to see the headlights, I was shocked to see the circular sanding lines and poor job they did. I went to walmart. Bought a rainx headlight restoration kit for $22 and Meguiar's Keep Clear Headlight Coatingfor $8; and just spent the last 45 minutes restoring and working on my headlights, and they look brand new! We have recommended friends to this company, and I am so disappointed. The first pics are after they did the headlight restoration. The 4th pic is after i did the right side. The last pics are after I finished with rainx. Update: I spoke with Kim. She's very nice and shared that she'd give a discount if we visited. She explained that the protectant/sealer is only filling in cracks temporarily. I wish they would have explained what to expect. Also, I'm leaving the photos up because there is a large difference between their job and after I fixed it. Changed rating a bit, but still disappointing to pay $110 for something I had to fix. It certainly had lines from their sanding that needed more buffing to clean up.
