Very easy and straightforward to use. You will need to know where your OBD port is on your vehicle. This is typically underneath your dashboard

The self service could not be easier. This is the future. Open 24/7, just pull up and begin your test. One caution, follow the directions exactly or your may have an error and you will have to come back. You will not be charged for this but it's inconvenient. Pull up to the kiosk and leave your engine running. Do not turn off your engine until told to do so. Do not restart your engine until told to do so. Just follow the prompts and you will have no problems.

When I arrived to the terminal, the windows program it uses was frozen. Fortunately by the time I got there, the prompt had appeared to close the unresponsive app. After closing it, the terminal rebooted and I was then able to use it. Unfortunately, the touch screen looks like someone has hit it with a bat. You can type on it, but where you place your finger is not where the cursor ends up. I was able to key my information in by tapping to the left side of the screen and dragging my finger over the numbers I needed to hit. The bar code scanner doesn't work. Despite the poor state of this device, I was able to get a successful emissions test. I read online that this would only cost $10, but it cost me $26. Hopefully the state uses the additional funds to fix this thing so that the next time I come in 2 years I don't have to provide free IT services again

'when it works' Started out. OK, the keypad said the lane was closed, but the screen still worked. I got to the part where it asks for my payment and everything froze. I left, had dinner and came back. It was still frozen. I made a special trip. 30 minutes away from my home to do this, waste of time.

The self-service kiosk is out of order. Complete waste of time driving up here. And the self-service kiosk in Annapolis is also out of order. Unacceptable equipment management by the MVA and Envirotest.

We really wished we had read all reviews first. We had the same issue. Never got to the actual testing. There was a car ahead of us that appeared to have no problems. We stopped at 7:30ish on a Saturday. We are headed to another location.

not working at 12:33AM, stuck at “please remove card”

This machine crashed or failed to run the test several times. And it won't let you retest within 10 minutes of the last attempt, so you have to either get back in line or come back later. Also failed to refund the fee on one of the failures.

I'd give it 0 if I could. Nothing saying the self service would be closed and the machine was broken saying to "Please remove card". Fix your crap, I'm not driving 30 mins out of my way to roll the dice on Annapolis working
