The Four Mile Run Mr. Tire (Arlington, VA location) earns its keep on walk-in flats and road-trip saves - a Pennsylvania driver heading home from a family event got tire pressure issues sorted before the drive. Rolando, the manager, gets praised for a non-predatory approach that single women specifically appreciate, and Jason explains what you're paying for.

Watch the fee stack: one reviewer's synthetic oil change climbed from $150 to $185 via shop-supply and top-off fees. Virginia safety inspections are on the menu. Rated 4.2 across 860+ reviews.

I had a great experience at Mr. Tires. Rolando, the manager provided excellent customer service. He fixed a flat tire as a walk-in. And identified a faulty back window wiper I had not noticed before. The tire was fixed and I was on my way in no time. Thank you so much.

I was in VA for a family event and had roadtripped down from PA. Planning to drive back, but with the raise in temperatures my tire pressure notif popped up on my car dashboard. Found Mr. Tire and one of the workers was able to get my tire pressure checked/recalibrated for my roadtrip really quick and got me on my way. For free too! THANK YOU MR. TIRE FOR YOUR GENEROSITY! Best service.

Mr Tire in Four mile run was fantastic. I made a 6pm appt for my well overdue oil change and they had me in same day. They took my car early and had it ready to go in 30 minutes or less. The gentleman at the front Cortez was very kind, upbeat and efficient. I enjoyed chatting with him as they made the process so smooth and painless. I will be returning moving forward. Also major bonus they are open until 7pm for those who have schedules that dont fit 9-5 shops.

Rolando was personable and not predatory in his approach to car services needed or recommended. As a single woman this is much appreciated. Ruben did a great job with my car and it rides well. Any future repairs that I need I will be returning due to the service, kindness and integrity I received from management and the service tech.

This was my first time going to Mr. tire on recommendation and my experience was great. Jason at the front was very helpful with explaining to me what I was paying for and what all I needed done and why. When I scheduled my appointment online, I selected a specific tire, but it ended up being discontinued. The manager roland was very helpful and ordered me replacement tires that were similar to the ones I had picked out and also made sure that I was still able to have the discount that i had with the original tires. Definitely will come back.

My oil change has gone from $150 to $185 going here. $15.91 for a “shop supply fee”, a $4 “top off fluid fee”, and they charged $4.99 in labor to put on the $5 oil filter! $9.99 for filter + labor? They STILL managed to charge another $2.90 for “recycle oil fee”. So what’s the shop supply fee for? And worst of all, Cortez the manager reviewed none of this with me. By my count that’s $33 in phantom fees I paid there. That place is a ripoff. Go next door to Jiffy Lube!

Called and made an appointment. $109 synthetic oil change and of course I expected taxes on top of that. Plus they said there was $10 coupon for 4th of July. Walked in and got the oil change. At the end, I was charged $135+. They said they charge for various fees related to oil change. I said I was quoted $109 + taxes. The front manager said he’ll get fired if he gives me a discount. I said it’s not a discount if I already came with a quote which was basically the same as everywhere else for synthetic oil change. I just paid and walked out and filed for a $10 rebate. Just got an email stating my rebate isn’t going to be granted. Will not return here again.

I had a leak in my left rear tire for about 4 months before going here. The tire would lose between 2-3 psi per day and I was just reinflating the tire every 2-3 days before I decided to try to get it fixed. I took it to Mr. Tire and told them LEFT REAR. They check all four tires and tell me the left rear is not the problem, but the front right is. I tell them I had been filling the left rear every time my sensors went off and it always solved the car's error code. They implied that I was stupid or lying by claimed the sensors were paired incorrectly when my tires were installed (by my dealership back in May). When I pick up my car, they claim they were mistaken and that the problem was the left front (which has NEVER given me issues) not the right front nor the left rrear. So I paid about $56 to be called stupid and my problem not to be fixed because the next morning, I started my car and saw that the LEFT REAR tire had once again lost 3 psi overnight. Also, my car's "optimal" tire pressure is 34 psi for all wheels and when they returned my car to mez they left all tires overinflated between 38-40 psi. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone and will NOT do business with them again.

I’m very disappointed in the service at this location. From the moment I walked in, the lady at the front desk was rude and unwelcoming. I barely stepped through the door before she said, “I’m busy right now, I can’t help you.” No hello, no offer to check availability—just attitude. Meanwhile, the garage was practically empty, and one of the workers was literally laid back in a chair doing nothing (see photos). They claimed to be fully booked, but it didn’t look like any real work was happening. Unprofessional, unpleasant, and completely disrespectful. I won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I went to Mr. Tire having ordered a new set of wheels and tires online. They were delivered to the shop, and I requested that the shop transfer my OEM tire pressure monitors (TPM) to the new wheels and tires. They did this for three out of the four tires. But on number four, they BROKE the TPM, tried to spackle it back together poorly, and didn’t have the guts to tell me about it. You can imagine I was pretty surprised when I started getting TPMS fail lights on my car. When I finally brought it to a reputable repair shop, they showed me the piece, which had remained, broken in my tire since Mr. Tire on Four Mile Run Drive so badly mutilated it. Want to know how much a new one costs from a reputable repair shop? $250 plus labor. Mr. Tire, through their complete incompetence, broke my car parts, and didn’t even have the common decency to tell me. I caution you to stay far, far away from this shop if you value your car and its OEM parts. In the photos, you can see the technician’s shoddy attempt to cover their tracks.
