Customer Reviews
Just needed some air in my tire. One mechanic was super helpful, and checked all four tires and topped me off. Easy and a great experience. Would return for future services.
I got excellent and prompt (immediate) service on a tire with a slow leak. River Road Auto Services is professional, competent, friendly, and always a good value.
After the big snowstorm, when the snow turned into “snowcrete,” I went to back out of my driveway, and the ice took my whole front bumper off! Took it in to River Road Auto Service and got it fixed — friendly, fast, and great repair work. Two thumbs up!
Danny and Liberty is the only place I take my car.i have had Danny help me after an accident….regular tune ups(in fact he texts me when time for oil change )and he trouble shoots with any problems I have. Honest…so fairly priced …I just would not go anywhere else!!! If you go….you won’t ever go anywhere else!!!
These guys do great work and are a great go-to shop. Danny always makes sure the work is done right and ensures honest service and recommendations. The prices are great and the turnaround times are quick.
One of my car’s had a dead battery. I thought it was the alternator. I had it towed to this shop. The mechanics, Eddie, was super helpful and called me almost immediately to let me know that it was in fact a corroded battery. He didn’t beat around the bush. He kept it very open about cost (which was fairly priced), and within a few hours of having my car towed to their shop, the car was fixed and we were back on our way. Will definitely recommend this shop to friends and neighbors and use them for future
AAA towed me here after I broke down mid-roadtrip. Danny and the team worked with me on getting the repair done in a timely way, and for a very reasonable price. Really appreciate their friendly staff and straightforward communication
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give Danny at River Road Auto 10 stars, I would. He’s not only a fantastic mechanic, but also just a genuinely good human being. For starters, his shop is right around the corner from Somerset where my boyfriend lives—super convenient. He’s also incredibly friendly. One day I was sitting in my car waiting while my boyfriend dropped something off, and Danny actually came over just to say hi to me. That’s not just customer service—that’s neighborly charm (and honestly, more than I get from some of my neighbors!). He’s skilled, reliable, and always goes the extra mile to take care of his customers. You can tell he genuinely cares about people, not just cars—which is rare enough that it deserves a parade… or at least a glowing review. Danny has my full endorsement. Hire him at River Road Auto for your car service needs—you’ll be glad you did (and your car will thank you, too).
I have been bringing my cars to them for over 15 years and wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Both Bob and Danny are the absolute BEST when it comes to customer service and knowing what needs to be done for adaquately servicing your car. They also employ excellent mechanics. This is definitely the place to bring your car for the very best in keeping it running smoothly!
Too expensive. They charged me over $1100 to replace the alternator in my 2005 BMW. I checked with other mechanics in the area that told me that this should cost between $700 - $900 with the variance due to slightly different alternator types used by BMW. I was concerned that my alternator was so close to dying that I wouldn't make it to another mechanic or I would have declined to have this repair done at this price. My brother is a mechanic and I don't mind paying a fair price so that somebody can make a profit but I don't like being taken advantage of.
